History:

1864 — Violetta is born the second child to Aurelius and Melinda Lestrange. Melinda is quite put off my the prospect of raising another daughter; she'd wished to produce an heir for her husband.

1868 | Violetta's elder sister, Bellamira, goes off to Hogwarts, leaving Violetta sad and crying for the first week she's gone. Bellamira is sorted into Slytherin and finds her love for Herbology and Potions—an  interest she would pursue later in life.

1872 | Violetta shows her first sign of magic while out for a walk in London with her governess. One of the upper class muggle girls saw her and teased her for her lopsided smile and a surge of anger and hatred rushed through her, causing an unknown force to slam the girl to the ground. Luckily, they were down an aisle in the store where only her magical governess was watching on, as the other girl's governess wasn't paying attention. This begins her direct hatred for muggles.

1874 | Violetta's sister graduates from Hogwarts and meets a man whom her father doesn't find good enough for her. After an argument broke out between the two, Aurelius allowed Bellamira to marry the man she wanted, but he was left so angry that he took her almost completely out of his will. The Lestranges cut ties for a while with Bellamira and her new husband, but they would later rekindle their relationships when the whole situation dies down.

1876 | Violetta receives her acceptance letter to Hogwarts and goes to purchase her supplies in Diagon Alley. She attends Hogwarts in September and, like her sister, is sorted into Slytherin. She discovers her love of Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts, but dislikes other kinds of magic that doesn't involve direct use of spells, such as Potions and Flying. After checking out a book from the library that covers ancient types of magic, she develops a slight interest in the dark arts, but chooses not to try any dark magic (not that she would have succeeded anyways).

1878 | Violetta begins her third year of Hogwarts and chooses to add Arithmacy, Ancient Studies, and Ancient Runes to her school schedule. She discovers her look of different types of ancient magic and the history aspect of everything, and truly begins to appreciate her History of Magic class as well.

1881 | Violetta takes her OWLs and gets scores that are satisfactory. Compared to her sister who didn't do well on anything except Potions and Herbology, Violetta looks like a shining student and gains her father's admiration for her ambition and intelligence. Their closeness begins to develop during this year and continues on until the present day, while her sister and father begin to grow apart.

1883 | Violetta takes her NEWTs and graduates with high scores. She attends both the Hogwarts coming out ball and her own ball arranged by her parents, but fails to find a husband that fits her parent's expectations and her expectations. She turns to doing charity work during the off-season and discovers a love for children. With her mother's help, the two create small scholarships for first years who would be unable to return for their second year, yet their ambitions require an education.

1885 | Violetta's third season doesn't go smoothly, as her parents are growing more impatient and she's feeling much too overwhelmed with her parent's pushy desire to get her married off. She personally doesn't mind the idea of spinsterhood, and doesn't want to subject herself to an unhappy marriage if she can help it.
