Appearance:

At five feet seven inches, Prue is above average height for a woman. Prue has quite a few distinguishing facial features, with her large eyes, deep dimples, pronounced cheekbones and full mouth being the ones people are most likely to notice. The fact that she's half-veela makes her features more appealing. She's very pale, though her freckles help temper that slightly. Her mourning period has recently ended, but she still wears partial mourning dress. She is right handed. 

History:

1856| Temperance is born.
1859| Prudence is born, the second of three children Noble and his first wife have. 
1861| Silence is born and their mother disappears soon afterward. Their father claims she died, but doesn't explain anything to his children beyond that. He also destroys any evidence of her existence in their home, citing extraordinary grief at her passing as his reason for doing so. Following this, he refuses to even speak her name, leaving his children with little idea of who their mother actually is. They are all too young to question this. 
1863| Noble begins courting Malvina. Their relationship moves by slowly (at least slower than Malvina is happy with) and, once again, Noble uses his grief as an excuse. 
1866| Noble finally proposes an engagement, much to the delight of Malvina and her family. They marry shortly afterward. Now married to Noble, Malvina is more clued into some of this less conventional parenting practices. She finds that they are kept extremely isolated, more so than she previously thought. She is concerned about it, but it is an issue that Noble will not be flexible on. In the end, she chalks it up to a father's over protectiveness. 
1867| Justice is born and Temperance is allowed to leave for Hogwarts. She is sorted into Ravenclaw.
1868| Fidelity is born. When Temperance returns home for summer holiday, she begins questioning their father about their mother more and more ardently, wearing him down until he reveals what really happened to her. Their mother hadn't died, but rather ran off after being a wife and mother lost their appeal. She informed Noble of her abandonment as well as the many lies she'd told him via letter. The girls are made aware of their status as half-veelas and sworn to absolute secrecy. Not only would it damage the family's reputation, but it would bring a great deal of personal embarrassment to their father as he was well known for being a blood purist and steadfast in his belief of the natural inferiority of non humans.
1870| Prue leaves for Hogwarts and is also sorted into Ravenclaw. She is extremely wary of interactions with others and goes out of her way to avoid the company and attention of boys. Initially, she believes the avoidance is entirely due to her half-veela status, but later on another reason emerges. Fortitude is born soon after she leaves. 
1871| Modesty is born. 
1872| Silence begins her first year at Hogwarts. She is sorted into Gryffindor. 
1873| Amity is born. She is Malvina and Noble's last child, much to everyone's relief. 
1877| Prue graduates and is courted by Caesar Silvertree shortly after. She is hesitant and doesn't find him attractive in the way she knows she should, but chooses to ignore her reservations. 
1878| Prue and Caesar are engaged. Unable to cope with lying any longer, Prue comes clean about her blood status. This does not change Caesar's opinion of her and he assures her that all of his feelings are genuine. They marry in the spring. 
1879| Nero, Prue's first child, is born. 
1881| Iovita is born. 
1883| That summer, Ceasar drowns under somewhat suspicious circumstances, leaving Prudence widowed and pregnant. Cato is born in the winter and his most of his care becomes Silence's responsibility. Prue suffers badly from a mixture of deep grief and postpartum depression. She recovers from this very slowly. 
1885-86| Prue's mourning period ends and her stepmother immediately sets herself to finding her a new husband (the children need a father, after all!) despite her insistence that she isn't ready for a courtship.
1887| Growing anti half-breed sentiment, culminating in the ban of half-breeds at Hogwarts, makes Prudence increasingly nervous about what the future holds for her, her sisters, and her children. She is more cautious than ever about her interactions with others outside her family.

Prue also deals with quite a lot of inner conflict due to the veela characteristics she inherited from her mother. Unlike her sisters, she's quite unhappy with her partially human status and does not see it as an advantage in the same way they do. She's highly critical of the way she thinks and can be slow to make decisions as a result of that.
