The Whytes had now been in Britain for longer than any of them had intended, Aggie most of all. The threat of being used as a pawn might have hung over her every day, but the rather dismal country wasn’t without its comforts, she had begrudgingly concluded. Her Mother’s absence was a blessing, and Mrs Malfoy’s company was welcome, for all that Aggie had found the younger woman rather meek and dreary when they had first met.

“Father had the best astronomers in America design it based on their latest predictions.” She informed the blonde chattily as they strolled the International Exhibition, headed for what looked like a large, maroon velvet clad box. “And then a charms expert from India put it together. They think the moon has less gravity that earth, so you bounce slightly!” Aggie added. This was her father’s newest product- the room was so heavily spelled that upon entering it seemed like you were standing on the moon, watching the earth rise. She dreaded to think how much it had cost, but it was all about the show.

Oh, that silence singin', singing to me...
Miss Whyte was a curious creature indeed. Her accent was jarring and her mannerisms she thought were very free and far more open than she was used to - though she certainly fixated on it more than she would if she were British. Still, her brother had some dealing with Miss Whyte's family and Nova was ever the dutiful sister. She was privately quite amused at Miss Whyte being such an aged singleton, she now had the luxury to judge other women for failing to find a husband in a timely manner.

In all honesty, Nova didn't find Miss Whyte's company horrific, but sometimes the older woman put her on edge a bit. It was all for Aldous though, her dear brother could always rely on her.

"How curious," she commented, actually genuinely interested in what lay within the box. "If that truly is the case, I'm glad we do not live on the moon." Bouncing around didn't sound very dignified at all. "And this room of sorts - it really mimics that effect?"

”Father says so.” She replied. The one here wasn’t as advanced as the model in the scientific fair, but this was far more tourist-friendly. Aggie couldn’t tell if Mrs Malfoy was genuinely interested or not- she never really could tell. For all she knew, the woman wasn’t happy with the banality of marrying and being a wife and a mother, but she sorely doubted that.

Aggie gave a broad smile and linked arms with the blonde. ”Perhaps we ought to test it- what do you think?”

She wanted to prove pleasing company for Miss Whyte on account of it being her brother's wish, but Nova wasn't always sure how to handle the American. When Miss Whyte gave her an opportunity such as this to easily appease her, it was hard to turn down. "It sounds fascinating," she replied as way of saying yes, let's try it.

"Oh!" A thought suddenly occurred to her which she felt ashamed of herself for not considering sooner. "Do you suppose it's safe?" She briefly glanced downwards as a hand came to rest daintily upon her protruding midriff.
