@'Estelle Eden' | Notes: Takes Place in Eden's Garden of Enchantments

The previous potion-making tournament –in where she sadly lost- had sparked Ariadne’s interest in making potions that were not beauty related. A few days ago, she had borrowed a potion book from the Crowdy Memorial Library without fussing about its content and upon reading it at home she discovered that its contents were uhh.. full of dark potions and poison. The woman supposed that it might be useful to brew some. Perhaps for her clueless maid or her incredibly annoying sister-in-law.

Usually her go to shop for potion ingredients would be the Apothecary but the shop employee had informed her(with curious look on their face that some of her needed ingredients were not sold at their store. The employee was however nice enough to inform her that another shop might carry them.  She entered the shop and made her way over to the counter with a side glance  at the other objects displayed.

The bell above the door tinkled, the cat jumped on to the counter, and the portrait of Great Uncle Rathburn Eden scoffed, all letting Estelle know that she had a new customer. She peeked out of the stock room where she'd been nursing her third cup of tea in an attempt to stay awake after getting caught up in a book.

"Hello." She greeted. "Looking for anything specific?" She inquired. The woman who entered was just the slightest bit taller than Estelle and around her age. Estelle hadn't seen her before.

She fidgeted slightly with the material of her dress, one of her many nervous habits. She wasn't quite sure what else to say so she smiled and did her best to appear like a confident shop owner.

The store definitely felt different from the others in High Street. It had a mysterious air to it. A amused smile graced her face as the portrait scoffed.  A lady had emerged from another room. She looked almost her age but for some reason she could not remember her from her days at Hogwarts.

“Hello,” She greeted back in an almost friendly tone. “Do you happen to have these things?” The woman handed a piece of parchment with a list of ingredients written on it. She curiously peered at the shop employee to see what her reaction would be like since those were ingredients for a bottle of poison (Well, non-lethal).

Estelle accepted the list and looked it over, tapping her fingers against her chin as she read the ingredients. She looked up at the woman curiously. "I have to assume you know what these are for?" She said, though it sounded a bit more like a question. "We have everything for this. Though your ratios are a bit off. I could write you up a better version." She offered. It seemed like the potion instructions had come from a dated version.

She handed the list back and smoothed her skirt. "I'm Estelle." She called over her shoulder as she turned down one of the rows of shelves and began to pull out the required items for  her new customer.

“That would be great.” Ari was usually the type to trust a book more than a person but since she had just returned at potion-brewing, she let the red head do some tweaking on what the book had told her to purchase.

When the shop employee had went to fetch her ingredients her eyes continued to wander around the shop. “Ariadne. Ariadne Harmon.” The professor answered. Eden’s Enchantments was filled with all sorts of magical trinkets. She contained her curiosity and refrained from touching anything. “How long have you been working here?”She asked conversationally.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Harmon." Estelle replied from somewhere in the maze of shelves. She was a bit distracted as she rummaged for the best looking of a batch of roots. "Oh, nearly all my life. I've been running it myself for 3 years now." She answered, after a moment, nearly having missed the question all together.

"Oh and don't mind the cat." She remembered to add. Just as she did the magical mess hopped from the counter and prowled across the floor to the stranger. It wasn't particularly an odd sight in a place like Hogsmeade, but not everyone liked cats even if they were made of magic and bits of potion supplies.  The cat bowed and it's tail of quill feathers and twine swished about playfully.

The professor hadn’t bothered to make the woman correctly address her. She wasn’t technically Mrs. Harmon anymore since her husband was dead. “Likewise.” The woman answered back.

After Miss Eden added the reminder, she fixated her attention at the creature. “I don’t mind at all. I do prefer felines over puppies.” With a chuckle, she crouched down just enough for her to reach the cat.  “Well, hello there.” Ari greeted the cat extending her arm to run her gloved hands gently behind its ear.
