[Suellen Hodges]

The journal is tightly bound and enchanted to only open when proper physical identification--most likely in the form of a fingerprint-- is provided. The writing on each page is concealed and, if multiple failed attempts at opening are conducted, may spontaneously combust. The only two people who have access to the journal are Suellen and Mickey, with the latter's permission being relatively slim.

Each page documents specific trades made that day, scheduled meetings and anything else that may be scratched down. Names are often coded as well in rather humorous monikers.

November 27, 1886

- Several galleons in odd trinkets, obtained by The Golden Grump. Stored and ready for stocking. (15)
- Weird crooked cane dropped by old woman on high street. Appears to have a gemstone at the tip. Ready for inspection. (1)
- Cards played with Drunk Skunk. Won some kind of muggle tool for "fishing". Seems useless, but could come in handy. (1)
- Children's toys were bought. Will be used as either bait for the upper folk or to pose as my own for added sympathy. (23)

Gambling rematch with Drunk Skunk scheduled for November 30th. Mentioned an increase in wares, so cheating may be the way to go.

Tea with Mrs. Whiskers on December 2nd, accompanied by Mickey. Expected by midday.

Final Tally of December In-Take

- x15 Increase in glassware; Vials make the majority at eight with some being embroidered in silver. Two intricate vases were obtained alongside other odd household instruments.
- x9 Dolls taken. New clothing will be sewn onto them. They will be sold come January.
- x4 Pairs of children's boots taken from the streets. Each will be polished and sold within the following month.
- x2 Old broomsticks taken in. Plans to have them repaired and sold will be executed by the end of the month.
- x1 Bone-like structure obtained from a worn down, vacated hut. May be dismantled and turned into crude weapons or toothpicks.
- x1 Galleon obtained in profit.

Reminder to meet with Drunk Skunk for another game of cards on the 30th to make up last month's debacle.

Mickey will be engaged in private lessons on the first of the month.
