9 - witness a crime

Rupert was immensely bored. Why was summer always so boring when it reached the end? At least Hogwarts would be starting soon. The Ravenclaw was loitering in the park with a boy that he was moderately friendly with since he had nothing better to do with his time when it happened. One moment, he was sitting on the bench, hands in pocket and the next, he was witness to what looked to be a female in the distance getting her bags taken whilst she was distracted. The man who did it apparated away.
He was too far away to do anything about it and besides, he was sixteen. That coupled with general apathy towards his fellow humankind meant that he simply turned to his current companion. "What did we just witness?" It had all happened a bit quickly, really.
