No longer destitute at this point, he makes a show of dressing in muggle fashions, though they’re often rather outdated and out of style. Grey eyes lurk beneath bushy brows, outlined by crow’s feet that betray his good humour. He is right-handed. History: 1834 | Young Aurelius is the first child born to his family. His mother ever the demure housewife, his father ever the ambitious Slytherin. He is quickly given what he later decides to be a foolishly ostentatious name, and raised rather detached from his parents like many middle class children. 1840 | A brother, Remus, is born, though their mother perishes in the effort. His first act of magic sees him transfigure a teddy bear to more closely resemble her. 1846 | At nearly twelve, Alby sets off for Hogwarts, where he is sorted into Gryffindor—a suitable decision, given his rash personality, though no doubt his father would have preferred literally anything else. He quickly develops a passion for transfiguration. 1853 | Alby completes his studies, finding work as apprentice to a transfiguration expert. It probably was, but they were still disowned by both families, bar his brother, Remus. 1857 | Their son, Rupert, is born to parents who are still struggling with the whole being poor thing. Alby writes textbooks, but finds the Ministry is closed to him via his father’s influence. 1859 | His wife finds work as a trainee mediwitch. 1863 | Elinor is born. 1864 | After working hard for several years to make a name for himself in the Transfiguration community, he becomes Professor Fogg, taking on his favorite subject at the castle. As much money as he is able, he sends home to his wife and children. 1865 | After six years of working towards it, Alby successfully makes an animagus transformation, taking the form of a horned owl. The plumage around the beak is rather bushier than most, a nod to his mustache. 1868 | This year when Alby leaves for Hogwarts, it is with his son in tow! 1873 | After almost a decade as a professor and missing his wife dreadfully, he makes the difficult decision to resign at the end of the school year. Given his background, Alby has little trouble now getting work in the Department of Magical Education. Though by now there is more than silence between him and his father, the relationship is still tense. 1874 | Proving that a little time with his wife was all that was needed, Simon is born. Elinor leaves for Hogwarts in the fall. 1876 | Ramona is born. 1877 | Alby is tremendously proud of his wife when she manages to secure for herself a healing internship. 1879 | He is promoted to Assistant Head of his department. 1885 | Aurelius is made Head of the Department of Magical Education. Simon leaves for Hogwarts. 1887 | His father perishes in the disaster at the World Market, leaving all he has equally to his two sons. The two agree that the house should go to Alby, who moves his family to Hogsmeade from London towards the end of the summer.
