Another school year though the halls were a little emptier than they had been the previous school year. This didn't fuss Rupert too much, he held little to no thought at all towards those that were made to leave school before their time. Instead, he was focused on the fact that in a week or so, there would be Quidditch tryouts in a few days. He was looking forward to seeing who would join their ranks.

Classes hadn't started yet and so Rupert was trying to find something to do to kill his spare time. He had left the common room and gone down the corridor with vague thoughts of heading to the library when his attention was stolen by the sound of someone seemingly having knocked over a suit of armor.

It was like she'd forgotten how the school was laid out! Every since getting her prefect's badge, all Cora could worry about was doing a good job! She knew that meant rounds and paying attention for misbehavior in the hallways, but Cora never thought she'd be the one causing a ruckus!

She was rather thankful that the halls were quiet, people spending time outside before classes started, but she still wanted to make sure she knew where she was supposed to be during rounds. Rounding a corner rather sharply, as she was looking over her shoulder after hearing a voice not too far off, Cora caught the edge of a platform holding up a suit of armor. In an effort to keep herself from falling, she grabbed the arm of the suit- and pulled the whole thing down!

Her face was as bright red as her house color and she looked around quickly; there was nobody around! Now she just had to get it put back together... Oh of course she wouldn't be that lucky! Another student rounded the corner and all Cora could do was be thankful that it wasn't a professor! "I- I didn't mean to!" She chirped self-consciously.

She didn't look like a troublemaker. Well, that was a boring disappointment. He would have loved to have someone to berate just for the fun of it. As it was, he recognized the girl as being one of the new prefects so he couldn't do that. "What happened?" He asked since he was still curious. And who knew, maybe she was in a troublemaker in disguise. One never knew and Rupert didn't tend to discriminate on gender when it came to such things. His sister could be a holy terror when she wanted to be.

With her cheeks still stained pink, Cora cast a sheepish look at the older boy. "I was distracted as I rounded the corner and I stumbled," She looked at the mess on the floor in mild horror; how was she going to clean that up?

"I thought I could catch myself on the wall, but I grabbed the suit instead." Would she be able to set it straight with magic? Cora wasn't sure she trusted herself with the spell at the moment, but there was no way she could reassemble it by hand! "Oh how am I going to put this back?" She mumbled to herself, trying to think of anything to try! What a poor prefect she was turning out to be!
