    @'Terpsichore Van Helsing' I promised I'd get a letter up eventually >__>

    Dear Cora,
I've heard through the grapevine that you've been sent off to Pendergast's School for Young Roses! I would not be able to bear such a fate; nothing would be more stressful than having snobby ladies judging my every move! Do promise that you'll write to me, as I've grown very lonesome this past summer (and I imagine you'll be begging for release within the next few months!).

    With well wishes,

    Tilda,
I never thought father would actually follow through on this. I sit in a room of green. The wallpaper has leaves and flowers. The linens are green. I look out the window and see a deserted garden. I already hate the color green and I have been here three days now. My roommate is one of the crazy named Whitledges. 'Cheesecake', do you remember her? She was a Slytherin a year below us who left after her fifth year. At least I have Sephey. I would honestly die if she wasn't here, no matter how much I complain about her.

Writing will be a must. Everyone, here is stiff and judgemental and I already wish to leave. How many more days will I stand? I already know French, and the art and music lessons and etiquette lessons shall kill me. Dancing seems to be my favorite so far because it is the only one in which I can move without embarrassing myself with my horrible spell abilities.

    Dear Cora,
I could not imagine the frustration I would feel if I were trapped in such an establishment. We were fortunate enough to get very pleasant dorm-mates while at Hogwarts, but I could not imagine being stuck with those stuffy girls day and night! I have little to no opinion on the Whitledges, but I have heard that the elder Mr. Whitledge has been appointed head boy! The only Whitledges I'm friendly with are my friend Clara's grandparents, and they're merely distantly related to the Whitledges at school. If you were to ever require assistance burning down the walls, I would be more than glad to offer my help. I'm not sure how I'd ever convince my brother that going to Irvingly is a necessity, but I can put up a good effort!

    Tilda,
My other saving grace I believe, as bad is this is to sound, is Mrs Olivia Pendergast's death. Her daughter is inexperienced and I believe that means I will be able to get away with more. I couldn't ever imagine living under that woman. Still, I feel as if for now I must follow their rules. Even if I do not like the rules of this society, men vangt meer vliegen met stroop dan met azijn. You can catch more flies with a drop of honey than with a barrel of vinegar. I am aware, I must at some point, marry and having the Pendergast mark me as unmarriable would not favor well. Though, if I do not mary, father will suport me as he has my sisters and I could very well be free to do as I please and join the family buisness.

Thank you for your offer, Tilda, but I think I might manage alone setting fire quite fine. I could possibly convince my cousin to send me something from a dragon. It would be quite fitting. No, still, you must come visit. We are granted free time in Irvingly on Saturday afternoons. I'm sure we could have arrangements for me to join you and a chaperone and let me be pardoned from the group.

    Dear Cora,
I would most definitely enjoy a Saturday afternoon with you! There's not too many events going on in society at the moment — the season is coming to a close. I should have plenty of free time on my hands! Please do write when you need company; I'm only an owl away!

I'm fairly confident Mrs. Abercrombie is my cousin's third cousin or some other nonsense, but I can gladly say I'm not biologically related to the woman! I doubt she'll be able to live up to her awful mother's legacy (not that I'd want to if I were her, anyways!).

    Tilda,
I thank you for that offer - I'm sure my sister already grows tired of my complaining. I suppose for that reason it is good that we are not in the same room - though if we had I could have been far more free in my behavior. If only you had come - though they wouldn't have allowed us to be roommates even though we had been choir the past seven years due to the differences in blood status.

I certainly hope she cannot. It is striffling enough without the late Mrs. Pendergast, if Mrs. Abercrombie lost what little hold she had I could go home. I do wonder how my stepmother would handle it if I got myself kicked out?  Though I doubt Mrs. Abercrombie has the same view as we.

    Dear Cora,
If I were to have attended the school alongside you, I would've likely burnt the building to the ground on my own; my free spirit has no desire to be trapped within the confines of a strict, stuffy school. Hogwarts had enough silly rules to abide by — Pendergast's School for Young Roses is far worse, as I've heard. At one point I did consider asking to be put there simply to avoid the season, but I do realize I would've regretted that decision entirely.

Despite our similarities, I cannot believe that you have less patience than I. You're far more of a perfectionist than I — I frequently find myself making silly little mistakes that would undoubtedly lead to punishment at that school. Stay strong, Cora. I know you can do it!
