Have you plans for Halloween? You've been most anti-social of late and its really not acceptable! I do expect to see you in the new few weeks and certainly at Halloween! We have not decided which ball we will be attending but should you wish to have a wife I will very much expect to see you there! Feel free to suggest an event!

Dearest Gwen,

I have not at all been antisocial; rather than focusing my energy on the magical community, I have spent much of my time entertaining our muggle counterparts. As father's heir, it's only right that I spend as much time with them as I do my fellow wizards.

If you do so wish to attend a magical ball with me come Halloween, I will not decline the invitation. I must insist that you choose the ball rather than allowing me to; you have a far better feel for those things! Please let me know as soon as possible.
