t was a perfect spring afternoon. The weather was neither hot neither cold, and Irina could wear her summer outfits again. She was bored of all that winter dresses, they kept her warm but they weren't beautiful. She wanted to show some skin, like all the girls at her age. Her hair was in a messy bun, she would prefer it down, but nowadays all the girls gossiped each other about what they do or what they wear. She couldn't wait summer to come, she wanted so bad to go home and not study for three months. And then she was going to attend this stupid school for one more year! She knew that it is really fun when you finish school, you can do whatever you want, dress however you want and nobody was going to say her anything!

Anyway, she had to study now, if she wanted to pass this year and show her father and his stupid wife that she was that dumb. She was good at charms, herbology was easy too, what was difficult about cutting plants and learn how to cut their leaves? Some of the subjects here were just ridiculous. But she prefered to study the easy subjects, instead of nothing. She could study transfiguration or potions with one of the Ravenclaw's they are so clever after all... They could use their brains to help someone!

Irina was studying silently herbolody, writing notes on one small piece of parchment, when the big door of the Common Room opened and a familiar face came in. A smirk was planted on Irina's face and she closed her book.

spring again, Finally, the air was starting to warm. Spring was welcome after being stuck inside during the long, cold winter. It was marvelous to be able to wear the lighter spring clothes. Everyone seemed to be rather happy about the change. It was nearly impossible to walk through the halls without hearing the fellow girl students complain about their heavy dresses and cloaks. They could hardly be blamed, the dense cotton grew to be rather hot, even in the cold castle. At least now there would be the freedom of passing time outside without worrying about discomfort. The temptation was too great for AdÞle to pass up. The sun was beating down past the clouds, bringing comfortable warmth to the courtyard. Everything was so pleasant! The afternoon could only be better if the constant nagging of studying wasn't present. There were several exams coming up soon and AdÞle was not prepared for a single one of them. If she wanted to pass, she would have to study hard. A small, reluctant sigh left the girl's lips as she left the comfort of the court. It was time to study, whether it was liked or not. How it was wished that the moment in the sun could be prolonged! The climb up the stairs seemed to be so very short, the common room becoming nearer so quickly. It wasn't long before AdÞle stood before the door. It could not be put off any longer. AdÞle entered the room and saw the visage of her friend above a book."Good day, Irina. I see you have already begun the tedious task of studying. How I wish it wasn't necessary!" With a longing sigh, AdÞle moved across the room and sat beside Irina.
