Appearance: When looking at Mr. Thompson Bartholomew Skeeter, one might think of the wrong thing about him. He stands at the height of 5'11", just missing the six feet mark. His form is well muscled yet slender in appearance. Yet the one thing which seemed to set him apart from all others is the smug look upon his face, which can easily confuse others. His brows are neatly arched, adding that expression to his face. As for his eyes, they are green in color, which seems to be the most interesting part of his face. He has high, well defined cheekbones and a strong jawline. As for his lips, he hardly smiles but when he does his smile might be considered as awkward looking in appearance as well as shy. On top of his head, he has light blonde hair, which is normally kept pretty short close to his head however, there are times in which the boy will decide to keep it a little bit longer, just to add a bit of interest. As for his clothing, he tries his best in order to keep them as clean as possible though that sometimes never happens. Yet he dressed the part of a middle class. He normally keeps his wand in a safe spot close to him, so that he is able to pull it out with his left hand, which is his wand hand.

History: Thompson Bartholomew Skeeter was born on May 22, 1867 to Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Skeeter. To say that the boy was welcomed into this world by their father is an understatement. By the time he was born, Maxwell had enough sons to keep him busy. As for the name Thompson, it was chosen because it sounded nice and not because of any grandparents that he had.
During his infancy, he was cared for by a nurse. It was one of the few only affections in which he received as a baby, not including the affections of his mother. As for Maxwell, there was barely any time that he spent with the child, perhaps due to his busyness at work. It would only be when he was one in which his sister Tamsin was born, the one person who Thompson felt rather close to. As his infancy turned to childhood, he was soon learned from a tutor, who taught him everything that he knew. Yet, he enjoyed the lessons, listening up at every opportunity that he could possibly have, learning everything that he could. It was at this young age in which he began to show himself as a rather "bright" child of the Skeeter family.
It would only be when he turned seven that he would prove that he was a young wizard. While his sister bothered him during his study time, only to irritate him, did a vase of flowers shatter into pieces, the petals of the flowers scattering all over the place. To him, it was a bit surprise but to the others of his family, it wasn't. It would only be years later, when Thompson turned eleven, that he received his letter to Hogwarts, confirming that he was indeed a wizard. During this time, he was taken to Diagon Alley by his mother. He went to most of the stores to gather his supplies and ensure he got everything, from his robes to wand. It was only when he went to go and get a pet that he walked out with a strange Manx cat, who seemed to have bounded with him rather quickly. He decided to name him Sleipnir.
A week or two past and before he knew it, he was at Hogwarts in the Great Hall. It was there that all the students that were around him were called up one by one. When they finally reached him, he slowly made his way up towards the stool. Before the hat could be placed upon his head, it yelled out Ravenclaw. It was there in which he ran off to join them. As for his first classes, they were interesting enough, with his favorite being Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration. Although complicated classes, he enjoyed them a lot. Yet, it felt like his first year went by quickly, soon turning into his second and then his third. It was before he knew it in which he was within his fifth year at Hogwarts. He is still the same boy as what he was when he was younger, always interested in information and willing to study. And with his OWLS approaching, he is studying more and more, nervous about what they really are.
Personality:
In the Shadow of his brother and sister: Thompson is always one of those who wanted his father's eyes upon him however, he is instead shadowed by his brother, Barnabas, as well as his sister, Tamsin. There was plenty of times in which he tries his best in order to get into the limelight, to get some sort of recognition from his father. However, he always gets the same thing as what his brothers get: the harsh treatment of his father.
Shy: Thompson is why towards people and won't talk to someone unless he knows them. When one is speaking to him, it is common that the boy will avert his eyes away from the figure, as though afraid of what they would say to him. This is a trait that was given to him, thanks to how harsh his father is.
Socially Awkward: Being placed into a social setting is not his cup of tea. There are plenty of times in which the boy will stand away from a crowd of people, preferring to watch from afar than to get involved. He also tends to be one of those tends to be alone, except with a select few.
Quiet: Silence is golden and he will rarely talk except when spoken to. The only way that this changes is when he is with his friends, but then again, he is not a leader but more so, a follower.
Nervous, especially around girls: The boy can be nervous, especially when around girls. He tends to be the type that if someone says something to him, he would stare at them and say something stupid, something in which most would stare at him confused. He avoids calling any one of them beautiful and instead, tends to comment on the spells that they create. There are also times in which he will back up against a wall and hope that he would turn invisible, as well as his cheeks turning a shade of pink.
Intelligent: Although he might not be intelligent in the terms of social understandings, when it comes to academics, he excels. For him, it is important in order to understand and learn everything that is possible in school, as well as go beyond that. It is because of this � as well as him wanting to study a lot � that he was sorted into Ravenclaw.
Polite: He was raised in order to respect others and therefore, he does as told. Thompson knows his manners and makes sure that he uses them with everyone. There are times in which there might be a slip up or two, but he has been known to apologize.
Skilled: Thompson is very skilled, especially when it comes to academics. He excels in Transfiguration as well as Defense Against the Dark Arts, compared to most of his classes. As for spells, he tends to learn them rather quickly and has even learned some spells above his school year.
Stressed: School, as well as the situation at home, does take a toll upon him. With all his spirit going to try to impress his father, there are plenty of times in which it only ends up on frustration. During times like these, he finds it important to be alone, to think about everything that he has done and to help control the stress.
Tries to Impress his Father: As harsh as he was be at times, Thompson tries his best in order to get into his father's vision. However, with all the time he tries, his brother and sister seem to find a way to outshine him.
Follows in his Father's Footsteps: Everything that his father has does, Thompson would like to do. In his mind, his father is a role model to him, a figure who everyone should look up to. When he is older, he wishes to be similar to him, with a few odds and ends taken out here and there.
Holds Feelings Inside: For him, feelings can be a sign of weakness and therefore, he doesn't show them at all. Instead, the boy holds them inside until he is ready to be alone and release them. It isn't healthy at all, for it provides the risk of exploding on others, which he has done before. Yet, he cannot just tell anyone his feelings and because he had not found the right person to tell, he keeps it to himself.
Perfectionist: Perfection is key in his mind and therefore, the boy will practice spells for hours before feeling that he is good. Perhaps this is the Ravenclaw side of him peeking out, but for him, everything needs to be perfect � or close to it. These skills are important, especially when one is outside of school.
Protective of his Family, especially his sister: As much as his sister can be an annoyance to him, he tends to be protective of her. This might be because the two of them are close in age and therefore, he has someone to talk to. He is protective of his other siblings as well, but not as much as his sister.
