"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
As a full time reporter for the Daily Prophet, I was offended when I read the letter from Miss Astrid Eriksson on the 20th of March. Personally I find it more fulfilling to read and write the articles that matter to the life of other people. I am not saying that Quidditch is not important; we have a professional league for a reason and people spend large amounts of money in supporting and following their favorite teams. What I am saying is that there are other things in life than Quidditch. Miss Eriksson talks about the capture of murders, kidnappings, and students dying in Hogwarts like they are no big deal. Such things are crucial for us to report on because it is important to be aware of the world we live in. Hogsmeade is the home to many people. Those people have a right to know about what happens in the village.
everybody nervous, and we are talking about people's lives. Many citizens of Hogsmeade have children or siblings, people they care about in Hogwarts. They wants to know if someone dies there. I cannot speak for everybody, not even for the Prophet, but I find a good newspaper should cover both the more 'entertaining' parts of life, such as quidditch, and also the life turning events that Miss Eriksson calls 'news worthy stories'. The upcoming Quidditch World Cup is a huge event for Hogsmeade and while I am sure that almost everyone is proud of getting the opportunity to host such an event, life still goes on and the Prophet has to deal with the serious part of life. I hope Miss Eriksson reads this and considers what it is she wants to read. Would the majority read about things like Quidditch all the time, or about the things that happen in our society?

It seems that even in the midst of the fuss that the initiative she started with her sister is causing, Miss Philomena Drabble sees no reason to slow down her writing. At one hundred years old, the authoress has released her latest work The White Dream. Miss Drabble has told that the novel is something she's worked on for quite a time and is finally ready to release.
In the novel we follow a young woman who lives an ordinary muggle life in the days before Hogwarts was established. Her magic becomes increasingly difficult to ignore and after months of having what she calls "white dreams" she decides that she must take action to find out what is going on with her and why she seems to be able to do the impossible. The girl - called Isadora - sets off on a journey to a place rumored to be rampant with magic in hopes of figuring out what her dreams mean.
As we've come to expect from Miss Drabble, the protagonist of her story is strong and brave and of unassuming origins. Like many of the heroes in her tales, Isadora comes from a muggle background just as the authoress who weaved her story did. Even after decades of
writing, however, Miss Drabble has not lost the spark that has made her so dear to many readers in the magical world. The story of Isadora's is riddled with mystery, adventure and even a dash of romance.
Through the novel we watch as Isadora struggles to admit that something is very different about her - and how she eventually comes to realize that she has been touched by magic. The readers will see her leave her village on an adventure unlike she's ever had with the help of her closest childhood friend. As the pair travel to the magical place they've heard so much about, they face many tasks to overcome.
While The White Dream is certainly not a novel for the weak hearted, it certainly brings to the table many things for readers of all kinds to enjoy. Miss Drabble continues to astound with her insight into the character's minds and ability to bring words so eloquently together. Whether a long time fan or a first time reader - this novel is sure to satisfy.
