Wand: Wild cherry, with a unicorn center at 15 inches long. Morwenna uses her right and left hand with equal adeptness, the latter of which she taught herself so as to be more like Maxwell, whom she admired considerably in their youth.

Appearance: A woman of average height with long red hair as her most distinct feature, she has bright blue eyes and a long frame. Her face is a little more lined with age than it once was but she is still an attractive woman and having been alone for so long she has attracted some interest over the years.
History:
1829: Born in Cork to a pure blood witch and a muggle-born wizard.
1835: Brother Michael born and Morwenna takes to him immediately.
1836: Having been charged with watching Michael in the nursery she entertains him by making his toy soldiers get into formation. Her parents are thrilled at her neatness.
1840: Receives her Hogwarts letter and attends in the Autumn. Befriends many people in her year group and house, although she never quite takes to the reckless Gryffindors.
1844-1847: Morwenna is first a Hufflepuff prefect and later Head Girl.
1847: Graduates from Hogwarts with excellent grades in all her subjects, apart from Potions, in which she struggled to scratch an Acceptable, which galls her to this day.
Summer, 1847: Is employed by the Ministry of Magic as an intern in the Beasts Division.
1850: Having decided that his friend needs taking in hand Maxwell introduces Morwenna to his brother in the hopes that marriage might convince her to leave her job.
Spring, 1851: Morwenna marries Edison Skeeter and accepts a permanent position as a division employee. FU Maxwell.
Autumn, 1856: Gives birth to Mason, her and Edison's only child.
1862: Edison suffers an injury at work and dies soon afterwards, leaving Morwenna, Maxwell, Mason and the family devastated. Morwenna rallies however and, after employing a nanny that she trusts with her son's life, she returns to work.
1868: Mason attends Hogwarts.
1875: Mason leaves Hogwarts and becomes a Herbology nerd. At least its outside but Morwenna shelves her dream of the two of them working together with beasts. They could have had a commune. *sniff*
1877: When the new branch of the Ministry opens in Hogsmeade she is offered the promotion, much to her surprise, to become the Head of Division and accepts, moving herself and Mason to the newly established village.
1884: Not especially rating her chances, though never doubting her own ability Morwenna applies to become the new Assistant Head of the Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. She gets it and though she is elated she is also slightly irritated she won't get to deliver her angry 'This would never have happened to a man in my position' speech. Oh well, maybe next time.
1885: The Head of the Department leaves and Morwenna eyes his seat...
