Appearance: Standing at 5'4 Annabelle possesses a petite frame, albeit not one that made any of her pregnancies particularly difficult. She has long, straight dark hair that frames her pale face rather prettily, but she generally wears it tidily tucked away for work, only wearing more elaborate styles when attending functions or dinners.She wears plain, functional robes while at the hospital but enjoys the fruits of her wealth in her own time, wearing much more elaborate gowns and rather enjoying displaying her jewellery. She had dark eyes, a thin face and a lingering burn scar on the side of her left hand.
History:
Born in 1850 the eldest child of Eldin and Hermione Longbottom she remembers nothing of the time when she was an only child as she was followed quickly by six sisters and one brother. As the oldest she took it upon herself to be the bossiest and make sure everyone was behaving, however she seldom managed the feat of behaviour herself until she was nine years old. On the day she first exhibited her magic - she was a late bloomer and it was a great relief to her parents when she did finally use it - she levitated Louisa's favourite doll into the fireplace by accident. Seeing the distress this caused her baby sister she immediately reached into the flames, believing herself invincible now, and promptly burnt her hand, permanently scarring it.
When she was 11 she received her Hogwarts letter and attended school in the autumn of 1861, being sorted into Slytherin much to her surprise. After years of being part of a unit of children Belle wasn't comfortable being entirely on her own and didn't truly settle at school till her second year when Judith joined her. She worked hard at school, wanting to distinguish herself from the rest of the group being neither beautiful like Lousia and Rufina or daring like Gladys and achieved very good marks during her OWLS. Under encouragement from her Head of House she decided to pursue the subject necessary for healing.
In 1866, just entering her sixth year she is betrothed to a man seven years her senior called Henry Bones. After writing letter after letter to him in entreaty he, rather bemused and baffled, does nothing to stop her healing ambitions. She is grateful to him for this for the rest of her life and even if he wasn't generally an amiable fellow she would love him for it.
She leaves Hogwarts in 1868 and marries Mr Bones and as he promised, once she is a Bones rather than a Longbottom, he encourages her to Intern as a Healer. Unfortunately for Belle, not long after the wedding she discovers she is pregnant and that her ambitions must be put off for a little while. Over the next four years she is pregnant four more times and by 1872 she has three children. Then, and only then, is she able to work at St. Mungo's in the Magical Bugs department where she enjoys her work enormously and is encouraged by her husband who also works despite his station. In 1877 they, along with most of the extended family, decided to move to Hogsmeade to escape and Belle took up a position as a fully fledged Healer in the village hospital.
