MINISTER'S SISTER TO WED! AMID CLAIMS OF UNSEEMLY BEHAVIOR, NICOLETTE POTTER TO MARRY?

It seems wedding bells are ringing this week! Announced by no less than the Minister of Magic himself, it was revealed that seventh year Nicolette Potter is to wed Daily Prophet photographer Ethan Borealis. Miss Potter, who recently portrayed some less than ideal behaviour at the home of the man in question, is the youngest child and only daughter of Jameson Potter, currently residing in France. When questioned about his sister's behaviour, Minister Potter simply said: "My dear sister is enthusiastic, not foolish; her impromptu visit to Mr. Borealis was out of sheer excitement�the pair have been friends for some time, and Nicolette incredibly fond of him. Though Minister Potter would not reveal a wedding date, he did state that the affair would be a small one, limited only to immediate family and close friends of the happy couple. WEDDING BELLS SOUND AROUND HOGSMEADE LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Love is the prime component of Hogsmeade air this year it seems! Back in June Viscount Thomas James Browning and Miss Iphigenia Hamilton were engaged at a dinner party at the Hamilton residence. Insiders say that the engagement ring was none other than Viscount Thomas's step-mother - Countess Miyako Browning's - ring. The wedding - to take place on November 25 - will be at Earl Joseph Terrence Browning's estate in Cornwall with a Winter Wonderland theme. No more details on the matter are known at the moment, but the Daily Profit will be here to report any new developments.

On the topic of engagements, Mister Oxford Lovegood has announced his engagement to Miss Jian Min Hou. The couple were engaged at Charlie Gilmore's twenty-second birthday party where Mr. Lovegood made a show of expressing his love for Miss Hou. Though there is no engagement ring as of yet, it is said that he gave instead his family signet ring for her to wear, a gesture that signifies her joining of the Lovegood family. They are wasting no time in running down the aisle, setting a wedding on All Hallow's Eve. Theme has not been announced, but it will be held at Lovegood Manor, open to all Hogsmeade citizens. Yesterday we all learnt about our classmates death. Isis was my classmate and we had worked together in several classes as well. We weren't especially good friends, but we still talked to each other when we had the opportunity to do so. We all loved Isis.
