After the quarantine had come into affect in Hogsmeade, the petite blonde had been locked out of the village, which wasn't exactly a bad thing in her book. She hadn't managed to contract the laughing plague unlike some unlucky folks, but instead of sitting at home all day, her family had taken a trip to London.
After arriving, she'd spent some time walking around Diagon Alley, looking in each individual shop for anything that might suit her fancy. She'd gone inside one of the candy shops, but nothing had compared to the sweets that Honeyduke's Sweet Shop had to offer. She'd then tried one of the pet shops, but her parents hadn't allowed her to purchase any of the animals. Finally, she'd gone to Flourish and Blott's under the watchful eyes of her aunt.
She made her way around each of the shelves, her eyes scanning the rows for anything that might pop out to her. She grinned, pulling one of the books about animals off the shelves and attempted to open it. To her dismay, the book flew out of her hand and started ripping its own pages out. Why would such a book be in the store?
