Appearance:

At a staggering height of five feet and nine inches, Camila has always been at least as tall as the men in her life - if not taller. Not from a family to make their women small, Camila's height is accentuated by her sturdy build - thick limbs, waistline and general stature, she could never be mistaken for dainty. Her mother's heritage shines through in her features from her tinted skin to her matching dark hair and eyes, a fact that Camila was always quite proud of. In terms of dress, she has never had means to be a fashionable sort and tends not to worry overmuch. As it is, she finds wizards robes easier to acquire given her monetary situation but still she has some dresses that she may bring out here and again.

History:

1848 | After two boys, Isabela and Gregory Blake are a bit surprised when Isabela gives birth to a daughter in the early hours of the morning. Isabela is far more thrilled than her husband who is more than a little apprehensive. After all, what shall a daughter do amongst two brothers? Regardless, Camila is promptly named and loved.

1853 | Gregory's worries of a too-dainty daughter are proven to be unfounded. At five years old, Camila is able to horse around with the best of them. Never has the girl had trouble keeping up with her elder brothers and while her parents seem to think she enjoys roughhousing too much, they are pleased that she is at least a happy child.

1855 | She is seven when it becomes quite apparent that her general tomboyishness is not the only odd thing about Camila. When met with the ire of her parents after cutting off all her hair to be more like her brothers, the hair grows back right before their eyes. The undeniable strangeness leaves a tense air in the home - parents frightened, brothers jealous - and Camila really wishes things would just go back to normal.

1856 | At eight years old and tenseness more or less replaced with acceptance that she is just odd, Camila meets Charles Peters. He is a butchers son, destined to overtake the long held family business. Camila thinks him a rather silly boy but nonetheless he becomes a regular fixture in her playtime with her brothers and bestows upon her the nickname of Mimi.

1858 | She is ten years old when Charles kisses her for the first time. It is a brief peck on her cheek and he seems as caught off guard by it as she is. She promptly socks a hard one on his arm and he returns home with embarrassment staining his cheeks. It is only a day later that he returns and if she is rougher with him than usual he does not say anything.

1859 | A strange man visits her home, bringing with him an explanation for all the oddities she seems to produce. She is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With the aid of a first year scholarship, she is able to attend the school. The Sorting Hat debates between Hufflepuff and Slytherin before ultimately placing her in the latter.

1860 | Home from her first year of Hogwarts, Camila is pleased to find her brothers and Charles waiting for her. They resume their schedule of horsing around though Víctor is much less present now as he is older. When Camila is unable to return to Hogwarts for her second year, it is quite the upsetting time for her. She begins working at a local bakery making meat pies in particular.

1861 At thirteen, Camila starts looking at her longtime friend Charles differently. Their closeness remained - and perhaps even deepened - upon her return from Hogwarts. She fancies herself in love with him and certain that one day they will marry. He doesn't care that she's a witch or that she's rough around the edges. He calls her Mimi affectionately and holds her hand sometimes when they're walking.

1863 | Charles proposes to Camila on her fifteenth birthday. They had already acknowledged their love for one another and while Camila's mother takes some convincing, the pair are married by summertime. Sweet declarations of love and her certainty that they are made for one another assure her that this was the right course of action to take.

1864 | Charles and Camila's first child is born. They name her Isabela after her mother, a fact that pleases her greatly.

1866 | A second child, Elio, is born. Camila begins working with her husband Charles in his father's butcher shop that will one day become his own. There, too, she makes meat pies.

1870 | Marco is born just as Charles's father passes, it seems. At twenty-two, the pair are now more or less in charge of the Peters family butcher shop. Camila is thankful, at least, that Charles still has his mother who is as familiar with the business as his father was.

1873 | Noelia is born. Camila is glad to have another daughter.

1875 | Isabela gets her letter for Hogwarts. Camila is exceedingly proud and just like with her, a scholarship helps her daughter go to Hogwarts. Camila is adamant that her daughter will get to go longer than herself and only hopes that she will be able to make it so.

1876 | It is alarming when Camila wakes up one day at twenty-eight and realizes that she is no longer in love with her husband. A bit of reflection leads her to realize that she hasn't been for quite some time. She begins viewing Charles differently - a cherished friend, still, but not a lover. This year also sees the death of her father.

1877 | Elio gets his letter and heads off to Hogwarts in September.

1879 | Another daughter, Mara, is born. Camila hopes that this is the end to the children she will bear, though Charles does not seem opposed to having more. Camila is a bit bitter over his contentment - even joy - at their married life when she feels positively stifled by it.

1881 | Marco goes to Hogwarts.

1884 | Noelia is thoroughly upset that her letter for Hogwarts won't come until the following year.

1885 | Still frustrated with the state of her life, Camila practically jumps at the chance to release her tension in a physical way as she did in her youth. When she hears of an underground fighting ring of sorts, she wastes no time in putting her name forward to step into the ring. That she'll be pitted against men is no issue for her and it really doesn't take long for her to become a regular. The extra money on the side is, as well, a great perk. After all, her frustrations in no way impede her desire to help provide for her family!
