Appearance: Standing at 5’9, Lochrin is tall when he doesn’t slouch and really quite ridiculously thin. His clothes fit him – just – but if there was no one around to tell him how to look after himself he would wear things several sizes too large and look like a clown. He has blue eyes, black hair and, as befits all Lochrins, excessively strong eyebrow game.

History:
1856: Expelliarmus is born the oldest of the two children born to Fidelius Lochrin V and his wife. He is a quiet, sombre baby but does not cause much trouble. His mother dotes on him and his father gives him a name that, silently, Lochrin will resent him for forever.

1859: Fidelia is born and named after a legion of other family members.

1861: Evanesco is born.

1864: Worry begins to grow that Expelliarmus may be a squib. One evening his parents visit the theatre and Evanesco goes missing; Lochrin has a series of odd memories surrounding that day and is convinced something deeper happened than her simply being snatched - he is never believed and the nanny is accused of her murder. He displays magic for the first time when his parents insist to him that she is dead - blowing the windows in the kitchen, the last place he saw her, confirms he is a wizard, though leaves him with lifelong questions about what he saw. 1867: Expelliarmus, quiet and conflicted, attends Hogwarts for the first time. He is sorted into Ravenclaw and though he has little care for any of the other students or partaking in student life, he is academically strong. Largely because he never leaves the library.

1867-1874: Lochrin is largely considered to be the odd boy in the year and has no friends, apart from Estella Bray, a muggleborn witch who he doesn't need to explain frustratingly easy things to. She doesn't really believe anything he ever says but towards the end of his time at school he is marginally less reclusive and even joins in some hi-jinks with his fellow male Ravenclaws. He never feels as able to talk to them as he does Stella though.

1874: Determined to never again feel the same helplessness as he did when he was young - and despite his first rate results in every subject - Lochrin begins to train as an auror.

1877: Lochrin finishes his auror training and joins the ranks.

1880: He becomes a trainee investigator, emboldened by his success as an auror and dedicated to learning everything he possibly can to find out the truth about his sister's fate.

1881: He is made a full time investigator.

1882: Copying Estella - because that is the most reliable way he knows to make real world decisions - he moves to Irvingly. And occasionally bothers her to feed him.

1884: Though the laughing sickness is an indisputable cause of death the loss of his other sister Fidelia reminds him of what he wants to achieve. He begins to widen his circle in the hope of finding help.

1885: The search continues. He becomes aware of a group of like-minded people who gather in a book shop. They are the finest people - outside Stella - that he has ever met. The truth is out there

Personality: Enthusiastic. Gullible. Intelligent – to the point where it’s annoying for other people as he has a tendency to correct grammar and figures. Smarmy and irritating to many, occasionally dips into being charming in a manner that disconcerts those that actually know him. Not bad company when the feeling takes him but often so lost in his own world that he has few close friends. Stella is his one in five billion
