A Mysterious Disappearance Can apparition actually make people disappear for good?

Henry Ural, a Hogsmeade resident, was reported missing this week, after he quite literally disappeared. According to his wife, Mr. Ural apparated from their home in the Slums on Thursday afternoon, intending to travel to visit his brother's home, but it was soon discovered that he did not make it to his intended destination, and has thus far not reappeared anywhere else that he might reasonably be. According to friends and family, Mr. Ural is a reliable sort, and has never exhibited behavior that would indicate that he would intentionally disappear. This has caused some to wonder if he has simply vanished from existence entirely.  "Apparition is already terribly dangerous," Mrs. Ural pointed out when interviewed. "People have died from splinching." _____________________________________________________________

Before readers panic and swear off apparition, however, it should be noted that, while injuries--and unfortunately, even deaths--are not wholly uncommon with apparition, this is the first reported occurrence of a person disappearing completely, and many are already questioning if this is in fact what happened. That said, if anyone has information on the whereabouts of Mr. Ural, they are asked to contact the Ministry immediately.
