Appearance:

Cordelia stands about 5' 3 1/2" with blonde hair, angled features and piercing blue eyes. Her hair is usually up in the typical fashionable style, and she never wears clothes from the previous season. She favors the color gold, which is often woven into the fabric she's wearing or in the ribbons she wears in her hear. Cordelia's right handed.

History:

1865 | Cordelia is born to Augusta and Charles Burke. She is the youngest with two older brothers and one older sister.

1867 | Cordelia is chasing one of her older brothers around the house and she trips and breaks her mother's favorite vase. It would have fallen on her had her older brother not experienced his first sign of magic and levitated her out of the way.

1872 | Cordelia gets her first horse named Garnet and starts riding independently. Eventually she helps her father break in the young horses, despite her mother's protests that its not lady - like.

1875 | During the summer when a horse escapes from the barn, Cordelia shows her first sign of magic in the form of making the field gates close before the horse can escape the estate. Shortly afterwards, she gets her Hogwarts acceptance letter. The following fall at Hogwarts she's sorted into Slytherin. She immediately makes close friends and climbs to the top of her class. Despite being gifted at horseback riding, she doesn't take to flying the same way, though she likes to watch the games. She doesn't exactly approve of women becoming professional Quidditch players.

1880 | Cordelia is disappointed when she's not made prefect, but she quickly bounces back when she learns that her horse back home has given birth. Her father sends her photos, refusing to allow her home to see it and insisting she finish her studies. Cordelia's spirits are quickly dampened, but she listens to her father, following through with her studies.

1885 | The past few seasons haven't been the best for Cordelia and she hears that her parents are thinking of an arranged marriage.
