12.01 ACTIVITY CHECK—The activity check is underway! If you would like an account reactivated, you can do so by posting in maintenance starting on December 4th at 10:00am EST. The exception to this is players with no active accounts. If all of your accounts are inactive, you may immediately post to reactivate one. Please keep in mind that it may take us a day or two to get to any new applications, depending on how long the AC takes to complete. As always, this only applies to accounts deactivated in the Activity Check. If yours was deactivated earlier for another reason, you are welcome to reactivate your character whenever you like! 12.04 NEW SKINS — With our unparalleled maker of skins, Té, absent you may have thought that there would be no skin change this season. HA! YOU GUESSED WRONG! I present to you four Winter skins: Summer and Autumn skins are still available for you to use, and for those who are unsure how to change skins: User CP > Edit Options > Other Options > Board Style. I would like to thank the following for their short notice banner donations: Bee (@'Elsie Beauregard' – Frozen Flora), MJ (@'Elias Grimstone' – Doe Eyes), and Nolan (@'Theseus Greengrass' – All I Did Was Steal Some Bread!). 12.28 Hey friends! We hope you’ve all been having a safe and delightful December! It’s a busy time of year for all of us, so just a reminder that the Activity Check will take place on Sunday! Make sure all your CML entries are accurate, your mini-profiles filled in, and your characters posted (lonely and assignments can help with that!) 12.31 HAPPY NEW YEAR! SURPRISE! Just when you thought it was safe to go outside! All day the festival has been perfectly normal! How boring! Somebody decided that wasn't good enough and has rigged this year’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display and snow’s about to get real! At midnight when the fireworks start the charmed fireworks will trigger a snowstorm that was meant to only coat the town in a few inches, however people are bad with magic and it’s turned into a full blown blizzard with white-out conditions in a matter of minutes! If you are caught outside watching the fireworks you’ll need to seek shelter immediately! Do you make the split-second decision to apparate home? Do you duck into the nearest shop? Do you take shelter at the nearest residence? Are you already home and wondering where your loved ones are? That’s up to you, but anybody caught outside will need to find somewhere to take cover. Within an hour, the blizzard will be in full swing and apparating will no longer be a viable mode of transportation thanks to interference caused by the storm. The Floo network however, will be open, but due to the storms is not functioning properly. You can try, but you won’t make it where you intend to go! Here's the forum!
