Charming is a Victorian Era Harry Potter roleplay set primarily in the village of Hogsmeade, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the non-canon village of Irvingly. Characters of all classes, both magical and muggle — and even non-human! — are welcome.
With a member driven story line, monthly games and events, and a friendly and drama-free community focused on quality over quantity, the only thing you can be sure of is fun!
"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
All these were delivered at Tig and Tiberius' house with their regular mail.

My dearest Antigone,
I was sent this illustration of a frog. Supposedly it brings good luck to any friend you send it to. So, I thought I should send it to you because you could always use good luck, am I right?
I just read in the Daily Prophet's odd facts' column that blondes tend to have a lower life expectancy. I was so fascinated with this piece information! I thought I should share it with you.
I was sent this by a friend and I thought it was such a nice message:
"No matter what happens always view the cup as half-full. You never know when a good thing will happen to you. The sun is always there, even during the night. Good things happen to those who keep love and hope in their hearts. Smile more! Laugh more! Love more!"
I found this in a ladies' magazine I was reading while waiting for a Lytton fitting:
"Don't be afraid to cry. The sky isn't either. And look what good it does when it does. Without the sky's rain. there wouldn't be flowers and trees. There wouldn't be life. Don't bottle up your sadness. Have courage. Smile more. Make other people smile! Your tears are powerful and so are you!"
Miss Pendergast,
I am ever so flattered to receive your correspondence, I had no idea you liked me so very much as to send me thoughtful cards at this time of year. As you are seemingly so fond of frogs, I saw this and thought immediately of you. I think it captures your beauty and grace perfectly.
