Kendrick Lamar gives me Sen muse. Which amuses me because she always struck me as the classical music & opera kind of girl. But some of these songs from DAMN. are some she would be into. I can totally see modern!her listening to that while doing some ~magical experiment shit. xD

SO this song is totally about something else, but I really like it as an analogy for how Lou relates to his lycanthropy, his overarching sense of guilt/shame, and how difficult it was for him to think about telling Xena back before she found out.

This interpretation was probably greatly helped by the fact that I misheard the lyrics for the longest time as "I am this great, unstable mass of blood and bone" which reminded me of a werewolf transformation >> But I think the sentiment/emotion is there even so.
