Coming upon the clearing, Tom filled his canteen and then rolled up the bottom of his pants to wade in the stream a moment, before helping to build a fire, to keep the egg warm.

The acquisition of the dragon egg made up for her momentary blunder with them being detected by the dragon. She was happy that they found the egg and personally took it upon herself to try and keep the dragon alive as she had Aced her dragon tests and essays. She also felt it necessary given her blunder to show that she could be responsible for it. She was in complete agreement with Eva and continued with her regardless of what the man did.

Once they finally got out of the terrible cold weather and got through to more warm weather, she finally got a chance to give the dragon a more natural environment to keep it hot and comfortable. Eva had a good point about the land, once they found this cleared location, it definitely made her want to enjoy the land for her and Nolan. Now that they were married and she was already in the process to become an Auror for the Ministry, they had the funds to afford more, but as reward for their efforts, they would receive land they find and thus, she would get their family what they needed.

She still hadn't told anyone she was pregnant, preferring to use charms to reduce the sheer size of her belly as she was already in the second trimester of her pregnancy, but soon, she would have to forgo the lie and let everyone know. Perhaps here, she would tell Eva about it.

She made the dragon vanish... Poof.... Dissappear. It still did not quite get to her. Not until she saw the egg again. She took it upon herself to make sure it's kept warm. She made it's mommy dissapear and she felt responsible for that now. They were safe, but a baby lots their parents...Evangeline felt bad, even though they would die if she hadn't done what she did.

EVENT ANNOUNCER ù ROUND 11
After a much needed day of rest, your group sets off again in a southeast direction. The area begins to level out, the trees continue to grow more sparse, and in the distance you're able to just barely make out the shimmer of what could be a lake on the horizon. It will take several days to reach it, but it might be worth taking a look at. Otherwise, you could write to the Ministry and see if the level area of land you have found would be something that they're interested in.

While on the trail, just after spotting the lake, an owl arrived and dropped from post for Tom. It was from his father and, shockingly, it was news that his mother had given birth to his new baby brother, Joseph Hitoshi. A nickname came to him almost immediately - Jo-shi. He shared the good news with his trail mates and, in such a good mood over the happy tidings, agreed to whatever they chose to do next.

The dragon egg proved to be challenging to care for, but not something they couldn't handle. Her and Eva's efforts allowed the dragon to stay alive until they could either get it somewhere safe or to hatch it. Now, there was the evidence that would allow them to leave and return home. She looked over at Eva and smiled brightly, knowing it would allow her to return home. She nodded, "I think we should signal the Ministry and get this dragon to the Magical Creatures department."

"Alright, let's write to them. But the egg will be taken away from us and we will not see a dime from it. I vote selling it and sharing the money"

EVENT ANNOUNCER ù ROUND 12
Your group chooses to write to the Ministry about the land that you found. It takes a few days, but you finally hear back from them. They tell you that you have done a great job and after placing a marker for them to later send scouts to, you can apparate yourselves back to the Ministry to collect your reward money. The land will be handed out at a later date.

After you collect your funds at the Ministry, you head to the Hog's Head. It takes a few hours, but after some haggling, you're able to sell the egg for 90 galleons. Divided amongst the three of you, that's a handsome 30 galleons a piece, not to mention the other 10 galleons you just received from the Ministry. You're noticeably better off than you were when you began the trail.

Elizabeth had no problems selling the egg on the market and getting paid handsomely for it, but the amount of money that they made on the trail and from the egg was more than Elizabeth ever thought possible. After hearing back from the Ministry, they immediately return to the Ministry to fill out the necessary reports, get paid, get their haggling on for the egg and then Elizabeth decides to do something outrageous: buying baby clothes for her children, alone, away from her friends.

After this event, she decided to hide the remainder in a secret compartment protected by many enchantments that she uses for her most treasured possessions. It was time that she finally tell people about her pregnancy, but first, she needed to talk to Nolan about it, in the hopes that he might agree to it. The journey with Eva was some of the best bonding that the two had ever experienced previously, bringing them closer together as friends than ever before. She hoped that she could tell Eva without her freaking out....time would tell.

Upon return, Tom kept his word and let the ladies split his share of the gold made off the egg. It was alot of money, but he felt wrong taking it when he'd been such a trial for them with his broken leg and fairly childish attitude. After everything was settled, Tom returned home to Genia, altogether too happy to see his dear wife.
