Appearance: Bethan stands at 5 foot 2 inches and weighs just under 7 stone. She has long wavy golden blonde hair, her wide eyes are a medium blue and her skin is a pale cream colour which she tries so hard to keep as white a possible which is easier said than done especially during the summer months. Clothes wise, she will only wear the most fabulous and expensive of garments. Her parents would prefer to see her wearing rags but since she threatened that she'd take their eye sight away if they didn't cloth her, they obviously did whatever she wanted.
History:At the beginning of 1866, Bethan was born to two wealthy parents in their country house in West Wales. She had a good childhood, one that was filled with happiness and laughter despite the confusion she caused her parents at times. Things randomly appeared, disappeared of shook and though they didn't link it to her to begin with, they definitely had their suspicions when wizards and witches were revealed and exiled though they were never sure to begin with. Of course, their suspicions showed correct when she received her Hogwarts letter when she was eleven. The only reason the pair didn't exile her was because she was an only child and they were unable to give birth to another despite their lack of trying. After the letter, despite the threats she made towards them, they shut her away in her room, fearing that she would cast some curse onto them. The only people she saw and spoke to was one of the maids which she did out of loneliness. She revealed what she was and though she feared Bethan, the female was kind to her. In exchange for her company, Bethan taught her to basic reading and writing skills. The maid was the only reason that the girl didn't go mad from lack of conversation.
In Hogwarts, she was sorted into Ravenclaw due to her love of learning. She had always been curious and clever as a child and would love to read books far too old for children. Her tutor often praised her on that fact. It took her a few weeks to get settled into Hogwarts. She stayed on her own, finding it hard to talk to anyone due to the shyness of her cluelessness of the wizarding world. The only reason she made friends was because she was studying for potions in the library when somebody asked her for help on a certain question. She helped; seeing as teaching her maid to read had awakened a passion for tutoring. It became a frequent thing and the pair soon became fast friends. More friends followed as she got introduced to more of her peers. Whenever she returns home, things are exactly the same as they were before she left. She is stored away in her room with only the maid to keep her company.
Personality:
[SHY] Bethan is a very introvert female. She probably wouldn't have any friends at Hogwarts if it wasn't for that day at the library. Some people are often surprise when they hear her speak in class because it's a rare thing. She has never been a talkative person which is something her mother often tried to get her to become more social as a child but she didn't succeed. It's probably why she survived so well being locked up in her room with only her maid to talk to.
[SELF-RELIANT] She is independent and realise on no one but herself. If she needs to get something, she will get it herself; if she doesn't know an answer to a question, she will look up the answer instead of asking someone for help. Working in groups is a nightmare for her because she hates depending on others and finds herself criticising everything the other person does.
[PATIENT] She is tolerant when it comes to people. She will sit in silence while a person is working on something or if someone is late. It's a reason why she makes such a good tutor.
[CREATIVE] Bethan loves to write when she has nothing else to do. After she finish her homework, she loves to sit by the window in her dorm room, staring out of the window when she's thinking of something to write before scribbling it down. Her favourite thing to write about is love, well her naive idea of love.

Sample Roleplay Post: Collapse down on the dark brown bench, Jackson couldn't help but heave a sigh as he finally got off his feet. Yes, he had been sitting all morning during classes but it felt like a relief to just sit without the worries of listening to some teacher natter about things the Sixth year couldn't really care less about let alone write notes about. He had always liked to learn, even as a small child, but he had definitely lost that passion. The workload was just too much for him. He felt as if he only did homework and whenever he didn't found himself panicking about how bad the pranks have got. It was as if he never got a rest so times like breakfast, dinner or even sleep were times that the teen cherished dearly.
Grabbing three ham sandwiches from the silver tray an arms width away, he began layering his plate with every piece of food that didn't require much moving on his part. After he shoved as much food as he could onto the small plate, he glanced around curiously looking to see who was in the Great Hall. It surprisingly wasn't many despite being lunch but then some students were probably still in lessons seeing as it was still rather early. Celeste was there, but then again, Jackson had known that as soon as he walked in. He had been in love with her for as long as he can remember but he didn't have the guts to actually confess it to her. After all, you don't tell a girl you like her because it makes you look like an idiot.
Pushing one of the sandwiches into his mouth, he had a quick look down on the silver watch that hung on his right wrist, frowning as he saw the time. Where the hell was everyone? Surely at least someone from his usual crowd of Gryffindors were free.
