Appearance: NadÃge is of average height with a slim body. She has long dark blond hair and dark brown eyes, which often shimmers of adoration and passion. She uses her right hand and wears acceptable clothes for her status as a middleclass ward.
History: NadÃge was born on a hot summer day, in a middle-class family. Her father was a halfblood wizard, her mother a muggle, but unfortunately she was their first and only child. NadÃge lived well with her family for four years, until her father suddenly died one night of a heart failure. Because of the sudden death, no will was ever found and NadÃge and her mother lost all their money as well as their house. Without home and money NadÃge and her mother found themselves in the slums of London, working for a living, though they found a somewhat safe home for the both of them.
NadÃge began to do street performing in the hope of getting just a little money home and help her mother who worked as a seamstress. The bond between NadÃge and her mother grew strong, but her mother was weak and even if they moved from the worst slum-part in London to the new-built Hogsmeade in 1877, NadÃge only being five years old, her mother was unable to ever get back to her full strength. The winter of 1879/1880 the seven-year old NadÃge witnessed her mother dying because of the flu. During the illness of her mother, NadÃge was really scared of being on her own, and she tended to move small things around in the room without ever touching them.
NadÃge was now completely on her own, living in the slums of Hogsmeade. Before the young girl had time to figure out what to do, she was thrown out to live on the street, being unable to pay for the small room she had lived in with her mother. NadÃge continued to perform on the street, now using every single knut she collected to survive, but it was not always enough. As easy as it may have seemed to give in to stealing for a living, NadÃge knew that it was bad to steal and she never tried.
One day, NadÃge had turned 10 and she met a young man who seemed different than the rest. He seemed like he was actually caring about her, something NadÃge had not experienced since the death of her mother. She was surprised by Leander Fortescue and his will to take care of her, despite her being æjust another slum kid' as she was getting used to hearing. They wrote letters back and forth, but NadÃge was one day too sick to write to him. Her illness continued and one day Leander had found her. Since then, NedÃge has become Leander's ward and halfway accepted him as her father. They lived in Bartonburg, until their house one day was on fire. NadÃge was beginning to think of Leander as her father, she could hardly remember her own father, and she was not accepting the idea of losing her new father in a fire, so she saved him out of the burning house. Since then they have moved to Irvingly.
Personality: NadÃge is a friendly girl, a bit shy in the beginning, who loves to read and has a special love for animals. In general NadÃge is open, but the years in the slums on her own, has made her careful around people and learnt her to trust her instincts.
