Appearance: Priam always considered himself more good-looking than his brother Orestes. How could he convince the heiress of a large fortune to marry him if he wasn't good-looking, after all? He has a long face, small lips, a Greek nose, green eyes and brown hair. He is well enough built and stands at five feet nine. He dresses in simple colours like black and gray and is fond of wizarding fashion because it makes him look intimidating and he's not some filthy muggle to dress like one at all times. He is right handed.
History:

1844. Priam is born the third child of Klaus and Silvia Lestrange.

1846. Priam displays signs of magic.

1847. Orestes goes off to Hogwarts where he is sorted in Slytherin. Priam is only a toddler, so he doesn't think much of it. He was too young to have a significant relationship with Orestes or to know what Hogwarts is. It should be noted, however, that growing up Priam was always influenced by his brother.

1850. Andromache goes off to Hogwarts too. She's sorted into Gryffindor.

1856. Priam finally goes to Hogwarts himself and is sorted into Slytherin. He easily adapts to the school life.

1858. Priam is only a second year when his sister gets married. At the time, he found his brother-in-law's name funny.

1860 Priam is picked as the Slytherin male prefect in his fifth year.

1862. Priam is made the Head Boy in his seventh year.

1863. Following his graduation, Priam seeks employment at the Ministry of Magic. Unlike most of his relatives, he doesn't favour the Department of Mysteries. A naturally social man, he goes for the Department of International Magical Co-Operation.

1869. Priam is sent to Spain for Ministry reasons. His host is a Mr. Salazar, an employee for the Spanish Ministry of Magic and a fellow rich pureblood. His only daughter, Miss Estela Salazar, is quickly taken with Priam. He was a rather charming twenty-five-year-old, after all. As a second son, Priam sees the appeal to marrying an heiress so he begins to pursue the young woman.

1870. Priam marries Estela. His father is a bit iffy on her not being British, but she is a pureblood and an heiress so it's not as bad as Priam could do. The Salazars were also once an affluent pureblood family in Spain, for all that their lineage has pretty much died out.

November, 1872. Priam and Estela have their first child, a son. After two years of marriage, Priam is convinced that he's in love with his wife.

1875. A second son, Octavian, joins the family. This is also the year when Priam's father is murdered by his uncle. This somewhat fucks him and Orestes over, because their grandfather is still alive and their uncle becomes his heir, rather than Orestes. Naturally, Orestes takes it worse than Priam does. Priam was always the second son, so.

1876. Estela's father passes away. At the reading of his Will, they discover that he had had his will updated so the boys would be his heirs, rather than Estela. Priam doesn't mind initially - his sons would have been his heirs anyway and it's not like he's living in crippling poverty! He only realizes that he should be angry when Orestes finds out.

1880. Estela passes away after giving birth to twin girls. They are named Clelia and Corisande. Priam is devastated, but he's pressured to internalize those feelings. His family's men weren't known for their loving marriages. Neither Uncle Lucius

1882. Priam is made the Assistant Head of the Department of International Magical Co-Op.

May, 1883. Priam becomes the head of his department after the previous one dies. It feels premature - only a couple of years ago it didn't seem likely that he would be a department head anytime soon!

June, 1883. Priam marries a widowed cousin, Nephele, after the subtle meddling of his Aunt Katherina.

April, 1884. Priam and Nephele have a son, Odysseus. At the time, Priam is urged by his family to run for the recently vacated Minister of Magic position.

May, 1884. His middle son, Octavian, is being a nuisance. His brother who, unbeknown to Priam, hasn't shyed away from using an Unforgivable Curse to reprimand his children, suggest that they scare the boy a bit to teach him a lesson. They take him for a boat ride at the grounds of Fort Lestrange. The plan was to merely scare him but in the middle of it, Orestes urges Priam to actually kill the boy. Priam had been influenced by his brother all his life and, in a spur of a moment, follows his brother's suggestion. He's guilt ridden as soon as the adrenaline rush is gone and especially when their Uncle Lucius isn't too pleased that they used his lake for their murder playground. To the public, it is passed as a boating accident.

March, 1885. Orestes is killed in an explosion at the Ministry. His four daughters are left to Priam's care. With their household full of ten children now (and only four of them being actually Priam's!) he and Nephele decide to put off future child-making.

Summer, 1885. Hilda, the youngest of his wards, is killed when some mountain trolls crash a picnic at Padmore Park.

April, 1886. Priam is nearly murdered in a diplomatic trip to India. He turns to spiritualism to deal with the trauma.  

Personality: Priam is by far one of the warmest Lestranges you would meet. Nothing too overly friendly and warm, but he is still decent to upper class purebloods. He is adaptable and he easily grows fond of things and people, his late wife being the best example to that. He is loyal to his family and warm to the youngest members of the family. Had Priam been born in a family other than the Lestranges, he would have been the warm and nice father/uncle who buys presents and everyone loves, but he tries to present a cold and indifferent image as he doesn't want to be considered weak. He secretly has a fondness for art, music, Quidditch and animals. He is, however, rather easily gullible, especially by members of his family.
