    Mister Carmicael,

I am writing this to humbly request a few days absence to attend to a personal matter. I may also need an application for a portkey expedited if you would be so kind. Please don't ask any questions because I have no answers available other than this is of dire importance. I would like you to know that I take my training very seriously and will of course make up all time lost.

    Respectfully,

    Mister Mordecai Grimaldi

    Dear Mister Grimaldi,

The leave of absence is granted, unfortunately the portkey is a totally different matter. I can put in a request for an emergency portkey, which means you'll get one within twenty four hours. But, I can't put in such a request without giving a good reason. So I must ask why do you need a portkey in such a hurry?

    Sincerely,
    James Landon Carmichael.

    Mister Carmichael,

It is something of a family emergency. If they insist you give a reason say I am going to fetch my errant wife. That's the best I can give you. I appreciate your understanding and will make sure to be back to work by the end of the week.

    Respectfully,
    Mister Mordecai Grimaldi

    Dear Mister Grimaldi,

The portkey has been granted, and can be signed out of the department when you're ready to depart. I wish you luck, Mister Grimaldi.

    Sincerely,
    James Landon Carmichael.
