Portia hated this, being forced to spend an entire evening with people that was unsuitable for her, and Lestrange people - among the worst of them all. She knew that it probably very stupid of her to dislike the entire family just because of one stupid bitch. Still, she was not going to destroy her own coming out ball, and she had already been dancing quite a few times.

Wearing a white dress was not exactly a surprise to most, but Portia was actually not to happy with how she looked in white, she seemed almost too pale in it, but she did not really have a choice - no one would think of her as a debutante if she wore any other color so it was kind of locked. And she had to admit, only a year ago she was annoyed that she could not wear a white dress at the public coming out ball.

Standing quietly and talking with a former class friend, Portia knew that in many ways she looked slightly ordinary. Her dull brown hair looked the same as always, and even the four thin silver chains carefully draped in her hair did not do much as she wore them almost every single day. That was just how she was, and most knew not to touch them or she would be furious.
