Morning of December 20th, 1884
After breakfast, a carriage sent by her mother would pick her up and take her home. Ellory had tried writing her mother, suggesting she spent the Christmas holidays at school, but as a response she received the exact time the carriage would be arriving. Ellory knew better than to put up a fight.
“I envy them,” Ellory commented quietly towards her cousin’s direction, her eyes lingering at two yearmates that would be spending their Christmases at Hogwarts. Walter would also be returning home and while his mother was perfectly lovely and, well, not scary, she didn’t imagine that he’d object to staying at school. Ellory certainly wouldn’t, if her brother was Samuel Pendergast.
