Appearance:

Fallon’s hair strikes a balance between being red or brown that falls in the same coarse curls her brother has, but looser by merit of her hair being longer. It is generally kept up by whatever means needed to keep it out of her eyes, which are grey. As her reddish hair would suggest, she is rather pale and easily burns in the sun, and is ambidextrous. Her frame is wiry and standing at 5ft she isn’t the tallest young lady, and the gym-suits she wears to work (she defies anyone to try and cursebreak in a bustle and corset) make her appear even smaller than she is, although she does have several dresses for when she isn’t working.

History:

☞ 1865 | Fallon is born and is largely ignored for a couple of weeks till it’s apparent she isn’t going to die.
☞ 1866 | Erin starts work as a wetnurse and Fallon is increasingly left with the odd neighbour with her brother.
☞ 1867 | Her brother starts vanishing whilst they’re at the neighbours and occasionally comes back with some sweets, which Fallon enjoys as much as many other two year olds.
☞ 1868 | Fallon is vaguely aware Kieran got some chocolate for something and then her Papa was ill. And then he wasn’t anymore.
☞ 1870 | Twin brothers join the family- one survives, Daniel, and Fallon is old enough to realise her Papa doesn’t like him that much. She figures it’s because he wanted another daughter like her, but then realises when she’s older it’s because it wasn’t actually his son.
☞ 1871 | Fallon turns a twig she was using to swordfight another kid into a real (albeit wooden) sword. She is very happy, and her parents also.
☞ 1872 | Seamus is born and Fallon is vaguely aware of her parents arguing more and more but mainly spends her time with the ¼ vampire neighbour, out playing in the street or prodding her half-brothers with her little sword to make them shut up when she’s trying to play.
☞ 1873 | Kieran leaves for Hogwarts and Fallon is left to take care of the babies under the supervision of their neighbour, something she still isn’t that pleased over.
☞ 1875 | Her mother’s indiscretions come to light and Fallon really isn’t impressed, but isn’t surprised, having a very low opinion of her mother that still continues, even if now she does understand a modicum of necessity to it all.
☞ 1877 | Hogwarts! Fallon is sorted into Gryffindor and despite her hand-me-down robes from some relative of the weird neighbour, Kieran’s old books and a second-hand wand, she is determined to make the best of it. In her first week, her wand backfires twice, removing her eyebrows on both occasions.
☞ 1878 | After his OWLs, Kieran leaves and starts work. Fallon manages to earn a partial scholarship, working the summers at a small underground duelling club, where she is paid to clean up every evening. Glamourous. She does, however, pick up a few tips, and earns enough to pay for some of the smaller school expenses.
☞ 1879 | Their father dies in circumstances that never quite added up, though she is too worried at the time that she won’t be able to continue her schooling. In the end, however, the scholarship and the wages do cover it and she gets to continue. Kieran moves out.
☞ 1882 | After her OWLs Fallon realises her family can’t really afford to keep her in school and so does what any young lady would do- deciding to become a cursebreaker. She approaches a freelance cursebreaking firm, Aragon & Tandel Cursebreaking Agency, and asks for them to pay for her fees. Mr Tandel is amused but refuses, at which point Fallon offers to duel him, and when that doesn’t work, to sleep with him. Though it doesn’t come to that, Mr Tandel was obviously impressed with her determination (or just wanted the stubborn teenager out of his office) and pays her fees, on the condition she sells her soul works for them afterwards. Seeing as that was her aim all along she agrees, and before starting her NEWTs finally purchases a wand that works.
☞ 1884 | Fallon graduates with the necessary grades and begins her apprenticeship under a Mr Godric Slughorn, who is a bit of a twat but amusing enough, even if she quickly tires of being told his claims of being Godric Gryffindor incarnate. Once her first paycheck rolls in, she purchases some gym-suits (training in a dress was proving intolerable) and moves out into a flat occupied by various other women. And then the plague and fire hits, which is a bit shitty.

Personality:

Fallon is a tad bossy, having been left with her younger half-brothers from an early age and really not having all that much patience. She is used to getting what she wants through hard work, and generally doesn’t really take no for an answer. She values her independence highly and has always been a bit of a tomboy, even when she was little. She understands why her mother did what she did, but still doesn’t approve of her negligence or for it allowing to tear their family apart. Fallon is well versed in eye-rolling and sarcastic expressions.
