"I'm certain he'll test us on animagi today."

Not that she and Katherine had anything to worry about. Unless Professor Swott added some werewolf-related question. In that case, Katherine would probably do better than Cecily, who always felt her heart palpitations speed up whenever werewolves were mentioned.

Suddenly, they encountered a deep forest. Cee groaned - a less than feminine sound, but Katherine was a friend.

"Looks like we'll need an alternative route," Cee said. There were two options in front of them: go back from where they came from or continue through the poorly lit corridor on their right.

“Well our last session was on Metamorphmagus so you might be correct . You don’t have anything to worry about it Cecily. You’ve been studying well and Professor’s Swott’s questions aren’t that hard.” She said cheerfully to her friend.  She was positive that Cecily would do well in transfigurations class. The both of them were ravenclaws after all and the other blonde had always aced Mr.Swott’s quizzes.

While walking, Kathy least expected for a forest to sprout out “Wow.” was all that she could mutter. The ravenclaw couldn’t blame Cecily for her less than lady like reaction. “Do you think it’s safe if we go that way?” she pointed at the corridor on the right. While the obvious option was to go back, but they might as well take the other way. Who knows? They might find a shortcut.

Notes: Cecily is fine! I think they're friendly enough to call each other Cecily/Katherine. :)

Cecily was hardly worried about Professor Swott's test. Tell her about a Potions test and she might have worried but Transfiguration was a class she considered herself good at.

Anyway, they had other things to worry about.

"It looks safe enough to me," Cecily shrugged. "I believe the ancient runes classroom is that way, so we'd hardly be walking into a trap!" The only downside was that they'd need to go to their transfiguration classroom through Switzerland. Ugh, Peeves.

The awful lighting and the eerie aura made that corridor suspicious. And with the woodland blocking their way, it was even more obvious that some devil set up a trap. Since they were at Hogwarts there was a small chance that it could kill them. Then again, a lot of dangerous things happened in the past.

Cecily mentioned that they were near the room used for Ancient Runes. Kathy you take Ancient Runes how could you not remember where you take the class It made her feel slightly safer since a Professor could at least come to their aid if anything happened. “Then let’s go.  I hardly prefer going through some jungle. Who knows what Peeves had placed in there.”
