After classes, Aleksei had shown up promptly at the Potions lab where Mister Mohr had instructed him to meet him. Zak was with him, of course, and Aleksei was snacking on a lollipop and had earlier offered a blood pop to his best friend. Now that they had arrived, Aleksei placed his cauldron down on a workstation and settled into a seat by Zak as he waited for the prefects arrival after informing the half vampire that he was welcome to leave if he got too bored.

Rasmus was not at all certain what to think of the pair of first years, although they were close enough that if they were older he would be suspicious off the nature of their relationship. Still, he didn't mind if the half-vampire wanted to lurkand suck on a bloodpop, so he ignored Zakarian other than a greeting nod. "Are you ready to begin, Mr. Nichols?"

"Yes. Where do we start?" Aleksei asked as he stood. His height was probably going to be a problem but Aleksei didn't really take notice of that fact.
