Eamonn wasn’t really sure where he was – he had stepped into the flu, threw down the powder and promptly sneezed. His attempt to get to his own home in Galway had ended badly! Eamonn rolled his eyes, this was pretty typical of him. Still it was a fascinating experience to see how the other half lived. Having been born into wealth he didn’t have an awful lot of experience of what it was to be ‘poor’ or even to have to work for ones posessions. He had written poetry of course about the noble peasant, the magnificent savage, because that was the vogue amount his literary friends but he had little real experience of it.
Seeing this as an opportunity for ’Field research’ he tentively stepped out of the fireplace – there was no one immediately visable to him, and he proceeded to stroll around the kitchen in the semi darkness. His sense caught him in a moment and he called out ’Hellooo?’ to see if anyone was there – after all he would rather like to know where he was.

In Souri's case, the move to Pennyworth had been quite unexpected. While some families were well aware they had the means to vacate the slums once construction on the new neighborhood had finished, Souri hadn't considered it a possibility at all. The Hog's Head paid her very modestly and her father was in and out of odd jobs. Even between the both of them, it wouldn't be possible to rent the kind of space they needed. They wanted to stay together, making the idea of renting single rooms unappealing. Ultimately, Pennyworth changed nothing for her and she went about her business just as she had before its existence.
All of that was why her father's sudden announcement that they were moving startled her. Apparently, his newest venture was leaving him flush with galleons, enough for them to rent a small home in Pennyworth and make some much needed purchases. Souri was weary of the source of her father's 'wealth', but she didn't question it too intensely. They were moving and she easily got swept up in the excitement of it.
Everything was finalized by the last week of August and they were in their new home by the month's final day. Magic made packing things up easy, but unpacking had to be a more deliberate affair. While her father was content to leave everything strewn about, Souri refused to let their home be ruled by disorder.
She begged off work for a day - claiming women's troubles - to make sure everything was put in its right place. She was doing just that when she heard a strange voice calling from the direction of the kitchen. A frown crossed her face. She wasn't expecting any company, but her father might be. "Hello?" she called back, rising to look for her unwanted guest. "Who's there? My father isn't home, if that's who you're looking for." Hopefully she'd be able to get rid of this person quickly.

He really should have left – after all he had no business being there as he had ended up in someone’s kitchen uninvited. He was a bit surprised that the young lady was so polite to this stranger in her kitchen. Eamonn popped into his ‘chivalrous mode’ and he swept his cap off his head, and dipped into a low bow to greet the lower class lady, as he might greet a countess or duchess. ’Pardon me Miss, I apologise for the unintended intrusion. My name is Eamonn Dempsey, at your service Miss.’
He took a few steps towards the nearest light source so that he wasn’t bathed in darkness, showing himself to be an older gent and in no way a threat to the lady on her own. ’I’m not here for your father, I’m afraid I had a mishap with the flu system and have ended up in your home. …eh might I ask where I am’
