"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
Perhaps you've heard the rumors, though I'm not certain there are any floating around at the moment: but I'm alive. That slanderous article in The Daily Prophet was horribly inaccurate. I simply went on a trip to Italy without my husband, can women not travel alone?
I have missed your company these past few months. How have you been? And how is Mr. Sampson? I hope he is treating you well, though if my memory serves me correctly you two have a joyous marriage, do you not? I hope you are well, perhaps we can arrange to meet at the tea shop when I'm feeling a bit better. Pregnancy doesn't suit me very well.
I've heard many tales on the reason of your absence, but when it comes to friends I try not to believe idle gossip too much. It does seem in your nature, however, to retain your independence even upon wedding. While I personally couldn't stand to be parted from my Sampson for long, it doesn't seem unlikely that you wouldn't mind a trip on your own. While certainly it is a bit uncommon for a woman to take a trip on her own, I don't see where that's anyone else's business.
Samspon is doing well. We just found out that I am with child. We are both excited about that news, and he treats me even more like a queen than he had previously. I didn't know a marriage could be as perfect as ours...but, well, I don't want to seem boastful. I've been lucky, that is all. I agree that we must meet up over some tea. Whenever you are free just let me know.
But enough of that. How have you been lately? What was your trip like?
It's funny, I've been alone for so long that I now don't know how to be married. It's quite confusing. Remus has all these wants and wishes as for what our relationship should be like and I'm struggling just to keep my head above the water. But, you probably didn't need to know that.
Congratulations on your pregnancy, it seems we're both going to be bringing new lives into this world. I'm due this winter, when are you expecting your babe?
I've been well, I somehow miss the Italian sun. Everything is much cleaner, and prettier, there. You must go there if you and Sampson ever have the time.
