Full Name: Briar Fae Murray
Nicknames: Bri, Briar Rose or Rose( by her family, referring to the fairy tale sleeping beauty)
Birthdate: November 27,1864
Current Age: 16
Occupation: student
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
Wand: 13", light, Hawthorn, unicorn hair
Blood Status: half
Social Class: middle
Appearance: A girl of medium height, uncommonly pail, and seemingly docile and fragile; she has the appearance of a well mannered, sweet, and innocent young lady. Her eyes are unsurprisingly brown but extraordinarily kind, especially when they crinkle in to a shy smile. At the same time, however, her light skin is splattered freckles, which she thinks of not as blemishes, but as extra personality. Her light eyebrows are often set in a straight line matching her thin lips when she is deep in thought. Her fair, dirty-blond hair is hardly ever up, unless her aunt has put that way and then it is put in to a simple bun.
Her clothing is fairly simple, for she could care less about fashion. She has not been unknown to simply "forget" her pesky corset but holds enough modesty to leave it on when going somewhere important where she may have to converse with people. She wears but one cloak, which she does carry a fondness for. It is a deep purple and made of a soft velvet material but other than that is very common.
History: Briar's mother had died in child birth and her farther, a muggle, had fled after discovering her mother's magical status. Briar's childhood, however, was not plagued with tragedy. She was taken in by her mother's sister and her husband and raised as one of their own. She lived in London along with her four cousins where her uncle lived as a printer.
Her uncle was a liberal man who held a love of books, and Briar inherited many of her ideals from him. She admired her uncle, and even though she was not his, he still favored her in some ways. She often would help him in the print shop and the two would converse of their favorite readings.
Two years ago the print shop had been torched by a group of Muggles who claimed the family "Devil worshipers" for their unholy abilities and her family uprooted, deciding it was safer to live among their own kind.
Personality: Briar is a contradiction in herself. To anyone who doesn't know her beyond an acquaintance, it would be a wonder that she was sorted in to Gryffindor. The girl has a very airy and gentle disposition beyond first glance and she really does try to keep peace in tact, but she is also passionate, as her aunt would say. She is the type of person that will listen to all sides of a story and decide for herself which one is right, and once she as chosen she is stubborn as hell. It is these traits that our her true self. The girl that is determined and unyielding in her morals and ideas, but still the person that can respectfully admit to mistakes when she has been proven wrong, well eventually anyway.
Patronus: Dove
Boggart: Her mother as she dies. Briar doesn't remember her mother but she does secretly weep for her at times, for what child is such demon that they end up killing their own mother?
Amortentia: ink, grass, and freshly baked rye bread
