    1 oz of butter
    Seasoning to taste

Boil your eggs hard, then place them into cold water for a few minutes before removing the shells and cutting them lengthwise.. "He is described as being a great son and brother and we at Witch Weekly think it’s quite safe to add husband to that list." The Eligible Lysander Ketteridge

With gold diggers and veela walking among us, there is sadly a shortage of eligible men for our respectable debutantes. We at Witch Weekly are trying to help all the debutantes that are reading our magazine in their task of finding the ideal husband. We spoke about Monsieur Mathias Beaumont and this time we have yet another exotic man: Mr. Lysander Ketteridge.

    Mr. Lysander Ketteridge.

Many of you, particularly those interested in Herbology, may recognize that surname due to Elladora Ketteridge and Rosamund Ketteridge, the former being the first witch to discover the properties of gillyweed and the latter an accomplished potioneer. However, you probably do not recognize Lysander Ketteridge.

Mr. Lysander Ketteridge is the son of Miss Rosamund Ketteridge’s brother, Robert Ketteridge. While native to Britain and a Hogwarts alumnus (where he was a Ravenclaw), Mr. Ketteridge followed his family to the exotic India shortly after his graduation. There, he took up a position at the Indian Ministry of Magic. And it is due to his position that Mr. Ketteridge returned back to his homeland! At present, Mr. Ketteridge is the Indian liason at the Department of International Magical Co-Operations.

Mr. Lysander Ketteridge is thirty years old (thirty-one in April, our sources tell us!) and his father’s only son. He is described as being a great son and brother and we at Witch Weekly think it’s quite safe to add husband to that list.

    January’s Book Recommendations
I’m sure a lot of you have gone to a bookstore, planning to get a book, but you were stumbled with one problem. You had no idea what book to get. Well, worry not! We at Witch Weekly are here to help! Below you will find the most interesting books than have been recently released.

    Birdie Babington, by Susanna Withers
After the great success of “Visions of Silver”, Suanna Withers brings yet another dramatic novel. Birdie Babington is a 29-year-old woman, left widowed after her husband consumed a poisonous potion. She’s living an ordinary life, until she meets the 35-year-old auror, Matthew Barlow, after he saves her son from being hit by a carriage. Love blossoms between them, but there is one obstacle to their love - he’s married. Heartbreak, loss and inappropriate affairs - Birdie Babington has it all.

"I love the bit where a mass murderer tries to attack Birdie - nearly fell off my seat."
      The Witches’ Book Sisterhood

      ”Truly heartbreaking.”
      - Aspasia Greenlow, author of “Someone Like Erica”

The Icy Moors, by Anne Helpfulflower
Mildred Bishop is an orphan raised by her widowed aunt, Sarah Bishop. Shortly after her twenty-first birthday, she is hired as a governess for the mysterious Lord Ashbridge. The two quickly discover that they have feelings for each other. However, their happiness is ruined when Lord Ashbridge is turned into a werewolf. Is Mildred’s love strong enough, to defy the threat of a werewolf husband?

“Lord Ashbridge is everything I’d want in a husband. Even if he’s a werewolf!”
      - Enid Duckson

“It left me crying in the nights.”
      - George Moonlake
Lauren Come Home, by W. H. Regent
Lauren Come Home is a powerful novel that takes place in the 1840s. After Lauren Upperton is turned into a vampire in the night of her coming out ball, she runs away from home. She then meets Eugen Lupul, a charming Romanian vampire who, unbeknown to her, is the vampire who turned her. Eugen brings the worst out of Lauren and when she tries to leave him, he threatens to attack her family. Lauren Come Home is a most certainly a harsh read that I would not recommend to younger ladies, but it is excellent nonetheless.

“The descriptions were haunting - Regent set up the scenes so well.”
      Bookish Wizard Magazine

      “Tragically realistic.”
      - Belladona Tallglide, author of “Vultures And Lions”

The Countess’ Secret, by Ginevra G. Sternsun
The Honourable Caroline Rothchester is living a perfect life with her family. However, when she finds a stack of letters, written by her deceased mother, Countess Ampleforth, her world crumbles. What did those letters contain? Read the book to find out.

“The book was plot-twist after plot-twist. I wholeheartedly recommend it!”
      - Xantha Caister, book critic

“Countess Ampleforth is such a powerful character, for all that we only see her through her letters!”
      - The Witches’ Book Sisterhood
