Zeke loved winter and the snow. Though it did make things slightly more complicated, especially when the snow was still being cleared from the recent storm. However the minor detail of snow was just that a minor detail that could be gotten around by using a broom for transportation. Even more the invitation for the Flamel ball said if anyone did not have a suit appropriate for an evening event they could get one on his account at Gladrags or one of the other shops.
This was simply an opportunity that Zeke was not going to miss as while there were jackets and slacks in his wardrobe in the Gryffindor male dorms none would be appropriate for such an event. Meaning the best christmas present that Zeke would be receiving likely would be a simple suit care of the Flamels.
Measurements would probably be the most awkward part of getting a new outfit. So Zeke did her own early one morning after most of the others had gone home for the holidays. It also helped as measuring with the wraps on then placing her clothes on top of them worked out conveniently so she would not have to actually be measured at the shop.
However this was the first time Zeke was actually purchasing anything in Hogsmeade as far as clothes went. Usually clothes were bought at home which was still a rare occurrence since he was careful enough not to ruin clothes by doing foolish things such as falling. With confidence Zeke rode his broom into town even the show was still covering the ground in many places and slipped into Gladrags.
Hopefully with a name that included rags they would not question the fact that measurements were brought and someone was taking the Flamel invitation up on it's offer. Not that she worried that much as she had a saved sickle for a bribe if it absolutely came down to that. With a gulp and some nervousness Zeke said " I was wondering if I could place an order for a simple suit for the Flamel's ball. " The fact that it was so close to the ball probably meant the answer was no. Though between the snow storm there was no way Zeke could have physically gotten to the store earlier.
Though the idea of new suit made Zeke have to try.
