    MISS FISK MISSING

DEBUTANTE LAST SEEN ON THE 18TH

T he Daily Prophet has learnt that Miss Xena Fisk has been reported to the Ministry as missing.

The 24 year old debutante was last seen by Miss Bethany Matthews on the 18th, a school friend. The two had agreed to wait for Miss Matthew’s elder sister, Mrs Anna Maddock, in Madam Puddifoot’s teashop when the elder witch had to return her son home with a scraped knee. After waiting some time, Miss Matthews went to see if she could assist her sister and nephew, whilst Miss Fisk opted to remain to hold their table during a busy period.

What happened next has not yet been determined- the shop was busy, however nobody recalls seeing anything untoward nor Miss Fisk leaving. When Mrs Maddock and Miss Matthews returned to the tea room some time later, and Miss Fisk was not there, they assumed the debutante had returned home, however a call declared that not true.

Miss Fisk’s cloak, bag and wand were all found by tearoom staff, who placed them in lost and found. The latter in particular suggests a hurried departure by the debutante, or that it may not have been of her own volition.

Nobody from the Fisk family was available for comment. The Ministry also refused to remark on claims that this disappearance was the work of the so-called ‘Debutante killer’ who has plagued polite society for the past two seasons.

As always, anyone with any information or who thinks they may have witnessed something are urged to come forward or to send an anonymous letter to the auror office or to the Fisk family.
