MISS PENDERGAST MISSING Ellory Pendergast Disappears From Irvingly Tennis Court

As reported by Witch Weekly yesterday, Miss Ellory Pendergast, the recently debuted daughter of Mrs Olivia Pendergast and the late Mr. Phillip Pendergast, disappeared from the Irvingly Casino on the afternoon of March 31st. Miss Pendergast had been at the Casino to use the rooftop tennis courts, and was supposedly in the care of Miss Irma Hooves, an employee of the Casino whose primary job is to act as a coach for young women. Although initially reported as missing on April 1st, the Daily Prophet was asked to refrain from reporting by the Aurors office, for fear that this might interfere with their fledgling investigation. Following the article in Witch Weekly, however, the aurors were willing to share a few details with the public. At this point, it seems there is no direct proof that Miss Pendergast was kidnapped, though of course all options are being considered. Miss Pendergast was previously kidnapped several years ago, along with her cousin, Miss Seneca _____________________________________________________________

As of yet, however, there has been no connection formed to any sort of militant muggleborns--the group responsible for her previous disappearance--and no demands issued or ransom requested. There appear to be no witnesses to her disappearance, though if anyone has any information relating to this occurrence, they are encouraged to contact the auror office. The Casino management expressed their concerns regarding Miss Pendergast's disappearance, but refuted any rumor that their facility was in any way lax or negligent leading up to the mysterious incident. The management also said that Miss Irma Hooves was more of a freelance coach and was not endorsed by the Casino--nor would she be allowed to continue her business on their courts, given the disturbance.
