Some time after this was posted.

The Quidditch Roster had been posted earlier in the day and Tobin had opted to avoid the crowd that clamored around it. Instead, he had gone to check for his name after the initial commotion had died away. He was pleased to find his name on the list and he checked to see who else had made it. He recognized his yearmate Jugsons name but the others were all in a younger year than himself so he didn't know them as well.

Heading back to the common room, he smiled as he spotted Miss Jugson as he entered. "Congratulations on making the team," he said with a smile as he settled near her. "We'll definitely take claim on that Quidditch Cup!" Tobin didn't really have any opinions one way or the other about girls playing Quidditch.
If they wanted to then why shouldn't they? In his mind, it wasn't much different than tennis or whatever else they played in the Leisure Sports Club.

Rosie had been excited to find out that she'd made the house team! She'd always enjoyed watching quidditch and considered herself an athletic girl, so it was only a matter of time until she took to the skies herself! Many of the newer team-mates were younger than herself, but Mr. Cartwright, a boy in her year, had made the team.

"I don't doubt it!" she responded cheerily. "We're the only house that has an experienced seeker. Hufflepuff's got the little Abbott girl, Gryffindor has a second year, and Ravenclaw has the tiny third year boy. Abney will definitely catch the snitch before them."

"True. Hufflepuff had to replace most of their team and one of their new chasers is a first year," Tobin stated thoughtfully. Plus,
from what he had heard one of the other people saying, the first year didn't even know much about Quidditch aside from what she was only just now being taught.

The quidditch cup was definitely theirs this year! There was no doubt in her mind. Half the new players were little children compared to the older teenagers that made up a good portion of the Slytherin team. While she definitely wouldn't underestimate the natural ability that some of the younger members could bring to their teams, that couldn't compare to the age and experience Slytherin had.

"All three of Gryffindor's chasers are first and second years. Granted, one of the boys — the freakishly tall Greyback — is as big as you, but he's still a kid," she continued. "The other is a second year boy and the other a first year girl — both who are no taller than five feet."
