History:
1858 - 1869 | Eleanor Josephine Lewis is born into the quintessential middle class muggle family. Her father, Dr Joseph Lewis, is a respected London doctor and her mother, Mrs Lavinia Lewis, is a housewife. Her mother suffers from many miscarriages and stillborns, so Eleanor remains an only child. As an only child, she is spoiled both emotionally and physically. For a middle class child, she has it very good.
1869 | Eleanor finds out she is a witch. Dr Lewis, being a skeptical and logical man, is uncertain at first, but is convinced by his wife to let their daughter go to Hogwarts. After going she is sorted in Hufflepuff and settles in very well in school.
1873 | In her fifth year, Eleanor becomes a prefect. In this year she also meets a Ravenclaw boy in the year above named Alexander Coren. The two hit it off immediately and spend most of their free time together (in public of course). Eleanor develops romantic feelings for Alexander and thinks he feels the same way.
1875 | For her seventh year, Eleanor becomes head girl. As Alexander had left school the Spring, the two remain in contact through letters.
1876 | After finishing school, Eleanor begins work as her fatherââ¬â¢s secretary. She comes out, but it is only a small affair, and she does not truly enter society as she is muggleborn and middle class. She and Alexander begin to court properly, but nothing really changes between them.
1877 | With the new Hogsmeade hospital, Eleanor switches jobs to work as a secretary there. She enjoys her work there and enjoys being able to work in the new village of Hogsmeade.
1878 | Alexanderââ¬â¢s father dies, and as the eldest son he inherits his fatherââ¬â¢s money. He proposes to Eleanor and she accepts. The two plan to marry within the year.
1879 | Alexander and Eleanor marry. Eleanor leaves her job and becomes a full time wife. She spends most of her time visiting friends and family and reading/following intellectual pursuits. She enjoys being married and loves her husband very much.
1880 | Eleanor has her first child not long into the year, a son she names Joseph after her father.
1882 | Not long after Joseph's second birthday, Alexander becomes ill and dies suddenly. At the time, Eleanor is pregnant and gives birth to a daughter shortly afterwards. The girl is named Amelia after her grandmother.
1884 | Finally out of mourning and ready to move on, Eleanor decides to restart her life. Instead of becoming a secretary again, she gets a job at Honeydukes, as she does not want to long hours in a dingy office that comes with being a secretary. Also, her job at Honeydukes wins her serious mum points with Joseph and Amelia. This helps her both get a life for herself again and be less dependent on her father for money.
Personality: Though she has friends, Eleanor is a very shy woman. She will not choose to speak to people unless she has to, and usually is the one approached in conversations. Eleanor is usually quiet and observant along with this. Despite this, she is actually very polite and nice, and will talk to someone without fear after getting used to them (though is still a bit quiet due to her introvert nature). She can come out of her shell fully, if the circumstances are right, but is usually pretty awkward and weird. She despises being the centre of attention, and likes to blend in. She is incredibly modest and tends to blush when complimented.
One group of people she can easily come out of her shell for is children. Not only a brilliant mother, Eleanor is also excellent with children. She can make them laugh, she make them happy, stop their tantrums - hence why she got the job in Honeydukes. She is also good with other introverts, she likes their quietness, the peace and does not feel so nervous around them.
On the whole, Eleanor actually has quite a cheery disposition, especially when left to her own devices. She is definitely a youthful woman, and is enjoying her youth while she still has it. Even though she is a woman, she is quite active and will run around at home with her children.
