Appearance: Valeriya has long, black hair and piercing green eyes. She is 4'7" with a slender build blessed with decent curves. Her skin is unblemished, lightly pale and delicate. Her wand has is her right hand. Valeriyas time in the asylum has done nothing to mar her looks, a fact that she is proud of.

History:
November 15, 1869 - Valeriya is born the only daughter of an upper class couple in Russia.

1874 - Valeriya shows her first signs of magic.

1876 - At the age of 9, it becomes apparent that there is something deeply wrong with Valeriya. Nannies that she was not fond of would always quit and would not give reasons why though they always seemed to be terrified. Valeriyas mother was in denial that her sweet daughter had done anything untoward as Valeriya gave off the outward appearance of a sweet, obedient girl.

1881 - Valeriya went off to Durmstrang where she quickly began dabbling in the dark arts. She proved to have a natural knack for it which led her to try and study even more of it. Valeriyas skills in the arts grew at a steady rate until she was confident enough to try and use them on a fellow classmate. Luring a male classmate that was smitten with her into a dark room, she terrorized him horrifically but made the mistake of letting him live. The classmate turned out to have been the son of a prominent member of the local community and his story led to her immediate expulsion.

Her only regret was that she had not killed him for if she had, she would still be in school and able to learn even more. The story was kept quiet as the boys father feared for his sons reputation {after all, he was terrorized by a 'mere pre-teen girl'} thus Valeriyas reputation was kept intact as well, the public story being that her parents had simply pulled her out of school.

Early 1882 - Wanting to get away from the past and the whispers, Valeriyas parents moved to the country of Britian as they tried to think of a way to 'fix' Valeriyas mind. They soon settled into a town called Hogsmeade.

December 1882-Present - At the age of thirteen, Valeriya became one of the first patients to be admitted into the asylum since her parents didn't know how else to deal with her and had grown rather afraid of her. They thought treatment at the asylum would be the way of fixing Valeriyas mind that they had been looking for. Valeriya plans to make them think they have succeeded by outwardly seeming the perfect, well-behaved and demure patient.

As she waits for her release from the asylum, Valeriya is plotting what her next moves should be, having learned from her past mistakes. She has not told her fellow inmates why she is in the asylum, allowing them to believe that she was a victim of some tragedy and hiding her true nature from them.
