    Nigel Yaxley vs. Heinrich Echelon
    #1
Roland had decided that he quite liked serving as judge at the dueling tournament; many of the students had proven to be quite creative, and even his brief stint as a duck had not been enough to convince the professor that it might be a questionable use of his leisure time.

Once again, the wizard explained the rules of the tournament to the two combatants, though given that both Mr. Yaxley and Mr. Echelon had made it to the second match of the tournament, he doubted they were oblivious to them. Once he was sure both participants were ready, Roland gestured to Mr. Yaxley to begin.

Nigel was actually quite pleased to reach the second round and despite still aching from falling off his broom and still a moody arsehole from everything else, he was actually sort of cheery. At least for him.

After doing the whole bow-ey thing, he attempted to give Mr Echelon a nice pair of antlers.

A shield charm, Roland thought, was not exactly creative, but it certainly did the trick as the Ravenclaw emerged from the altercation sans-antlers. “Mr. Echelon shall take the first round,” the professor declared, “and, if he would be so kind, also begin the next!”

Oooh! Roland winced on the Slytherin’s behalf as the poor lad’s face erupted in boils. It was not a look anyone would wish to sport for long.

“I daresay Mr. Echelon has won our bout, and takes with him five points for Ravenclaw. Congratulations!”
    [Echelon 12, Yaxley 7]
