Appearance: Ed is very tall, coming in at 5’11”, three inches taller than his twin brother. He has sandy blonde hair and light eyes, as do the rest of his family. He used to be quite thin and wobbly but has grown into his build by training for professional quiddich, his far off dream. He likes to wear clothes more becoming of the middle class, just to see peoples’ faces when he tells them he’s a Crouch. His wand hand is his right.

History:

1858 Edison is born, an hour later than George.

1863 November is born and Ed adores her.

1865 Ed shows his first sign of magic by turning a gerbil into a rat, a distinction that no one around the house noticed until a month later.

1866 Aldous is sorted into Slytherin.

1869 George and Edison leave for Hogwarts and are sorted into Slytherin and Gryffindor, respectively.

1871 Ed picks up Muggle Studies.

1873 Aldous graduates and promptly speeds off around Asia for a year. George is appointed prefect, and Ed is rather pleased not to have been.

1874 Aldous returns and Ed begins his NEWT classes, taking Astronomy, Muggle Studies, DADA, Charms and Transfiguration.

1876 George and Edison leave Hogwarts. George becomes an unspeakable, which displeases Ed to some extent, but doesn’t surprise him. Ed would never work for such a corrupt organization. He becomes an intern for St. Mungos. He keeps going with it, because it is much more respectable than what he truly wants to be- a professional Quiddich player.

1877 The Crouches intend to move to Hogsmeade, but Malachi and Alberta are killed in a structural accident. Aldous takes responsibility for November, which Ed had volunteered to do, but Aldous was the eldest. Ed is also promoted to a full-fledged healing position.

1878 The Crouches make the move to Hogsmeade.

1882 November graduates.

1884 The Crouch’s house is burned to the ground, but Ed and his siblings escape unharmed.

1884 Ed makes the move to Hogsmeade Hospital.
