Appearance:

Cosima stands at five and two and a half inches. She’s a brunette with brown eyes. Her skin is prone to tanning, so it’s a good thing that she doesn’t live in Greece or something. Despite being closer to thirty than twenty, Cosima maintains a rather youthful look to her face. Her teeth have always been white and healthy. She’s right handed.

When she’s not in mourning, Cosima still prefers to stay away from overly light and happy colours. She prefers darker shades because they’re more elegant. She also enjoys wearing perfumes and owns quite a lot of bottles of them, for every occassion.

History:

June 10th, 1858: Eight years after the birth of their son, Mercombe and Bernadette Abercrombie welcome a pair of twin girls to the family. From day one, the twins are constantly subjected to cliché twin stuff. They have matching cribs, matching outfits, matching plates, matching toys. The nannies probably tied different coloured ribbons around their wrists to tell them apart.

More childhood: The Abercrombie girls were inseparable. And little Cosima did not like it. The last time she remembers actually standing her twin’s company was when they were about three. It didn’t help that their parents constantly seemed to view them as one. Whenever Cosima accomplished something, she always felt like her parents viewed it as accomplishment of both her and Callista. She shows signs of magic? She gets a doll, but so does Callista. Ugh.

When they are two, their father decides to betroth them to the twin sons of one of his friends. It is decided that Hamilton, as the heir, will choose which girl he wants to marry. In the years that follow there is competition between the girls to be chosen by him, and when he chooses Callista, Cosima decides that he was not worth it anyway. And probably it is for the best, as she does get along splendidly with Hadrian.

September of 1869: It’s time for the Abercrombie girls to go to Hogwarts and they’re both sorted into Ravenclaw. It is only after she is sorted (and after Callista, since her name starts with Ca- and hers with Co-) that she learns that she could ask the Hat to put her in a different house. At least there are enough other girls at Hogwarts for the twins not to have to spend more time together. They both quickly find their own groups of friends and Cosima quite happily doesn’t speak to her twin for days, unless she really has to.

1871-1872: Cosima’s third year. She picks Ancient Runes as her only elective.

1873-1874: Cosima returns for her fifth year as a prefect. That joy is overshadowed, however, by the fact that her parents still don't seem to think her the superiour twin.

Summer of 1876: The girls come out and meet their betrotheds in a fancy dinner arranged by their families.

March of 1879: Hadrian and Cosima get married.

June of 1879: Callista and Hamilton also get married. Cosima finds her sister's wedding needlessly big and frankly quite tasteless!

January of 1881: Hadrian and Cosima’s children are born, and they’re twins. They go for painfully posh names and name them Westminster and Winchester.

January 3rd, 1883: Elwin marries Miss Evelyn Pendergast. Cosima likes her sister-in-law, but they hardly become bffs who braid each other’s hair and do sleepovers either.

Sometime in 1883: Callista finally has a child and it’s a girl. lol #fail

November of 1884: After the doom and fire of the summer, Hadrian and Cosima manage to buy a quite big house in central Wellingtonshire (Morgana Cresent, to be precise) for a fairly low price. The family that lived there all died in the fire/plague and the dude who inherited it couldn't care less about it so he sold it. They do need to do some repairs on the house, but it is ready for living by November, when they move in.

A bitch, basically. She has always been the more serious twin and often tends to take words too literally.
