    • Aiden had suddenly felt way more guilty than when the group had entered the cave. He gestured quietly and with as few sudden moves as possible, Aiden slowly pressed against a wall and slid silently to avoid the dragon. He would NOT let the women get hurt. He would NOT let the dragon harm them. There was NO chance that Aiden Macmillan endanger the fairer sex once again. He had done enough of that already. He was a failure at protecting them from harm. Lelia had recently broken her arm, much to the eighteen year old's great displeasure. He had bandages and knew how to set a broken bone only because his mother had done it to him several times. It would not be healed though. Aiden was no healer. He hoped that her arm would not hurt too much. Damn his foolish ideas. Aiden looked at the dragon with hesitant eyes. If only he were more careless and in a group of boys like him. Then there would be some risk taking in stealing that dragon egg. But the women came first. The women ALWAYS came first.

    EVENT ANNOUNCER - ROUND 7
You have chosen to avoid the dragon and leave it well alone. One by one, you make your way through the mountain brush as quietly and nonchalantly as you're able. The dragon seems to be complacent and entirely unaware of your groups presence. It blows on its egg to keep it warm and looks as if it might curl up and take a nap. Thanks to your incantations, your group is able to slip past it. You continue to travel in a southward direction.

On the seventh of June, there's a rumbling noise - one quite unlike that of the dragon. It sounds like something big and not quite right. It is then that you look upward to see that higher up on the mountain, something has caused an avalanche. The tumbling waves of the snow could easily crush you if it were to reach you. The only option is to outrun it, or risk it by burrowing into the already existing snow in an attempt to have it pass over you - but then you'll have to worry about digging yourselves back out as well.

An avalanche. Great. Like they did not go through enough already, now it had to be that. Scarlett swore quietly, not caring it was quite unlike an upper class lady she now was. She bit her lower lip and raised her wand, trying to change the direction in which the avalanche was going. If it failed, she had prepared a spell that would shield them from it...Hopefully.

    EVENT ANNOUNCER ù ROUND 8
Your group decides to combine magic and burying yourselves in the snow in an attempt at survival. Luckily, you're able to get yourselves in a stable enough shelter with packed down snow that it passes right over your heads. However, you're sealed in. Even with magic, it takes nearly a day to get unburied. Claustrophobia and panic are common feelings as you dig yourselves out.

Finally, you emerge into sunlight to find two feet of extra snow on the ground. It's powder-like and impossible to continue to climb in the direction you were headed. Instead, you travel downhill in a southeastern direction. On the 10th of June, you come upon two people who are the sole survivors of their group - Odira Browne and Archie Fraser. Your groups join forces.

The region becomes much warmer and thins out into a sparse forest that appears to be several valleys shoved together. You come upon a small clearing. There is a stream with several rock scattered around it, perfect for sitting. It seems to be as good of a place to rest as any, and your group is able to refill your water canteens.

    Round 9 begins June 13th

Lelia was not pleased about her broken arm.

She had been less pleased about digging her way from a snow cave, but her displeasure had manifested in a drive to get out. Now they were free and alive, with two new group members.

Lelia filled her canteen, figuring that maybe it wasn't that bad. After all: prize money.

Scarlett was tired. It reminded her of the days she worked at Rosa Lee.... Even that wasn't as hard as the whole expedition. The avalanche, dragons... So many things to deal with. It was simply over her strength, so she was glad they could finally make a stop and fill their canteens. Her falcon made it's way to hunt something for itself and maybe something that they can eat too. Scar had to admit, having an animal like that was pretty darn useful.

    EVENT ANNOUNCER ù ROUND 9
After a much needed day of rest, your group sets off again in a southeast direction. The area begins to level out, the trees continue to grow more sparse, and in the distance you're able to just barely make out the shimmer of what could be a lake on the horizon. It will take several days to reach it, but it might be worth taking a look at. Otherwise, you could write to the Ministry and see if the level area of land you have found would be something that they're interested in.

    Round 10 begins June 16th

Not quite certain how he felt about how all the events of his previous group had developed, Archie seemed to struggle to settle during the day or at night. Anxious and restless, he felt a pang of guilt for not safe housing his previous group mates and worried about their injuries. They may have been well looked after by now but Archie being Archie still didn't feel that was quite enough. He should had done something, or been more mindful.

"Ah, now this piece o'land might be exactly what yon Ministry is after, ken?" Archie spoke up, quietly glancing back to his other expeditioners with a slight glimmer in his eyes. He'd seen well enough the shimmer of what seemed to be a lake ahead and Archie had it set in his mind to go on with the show - still, he thought to stop and speak with his group first and foremost.

"I'm thinking it would be wise to send word to the Ministry but...there's also that there ahead of us, ye see?" He pointed out to the horizon. "Could be a lake, which might be worth more in value -- course it's also a few more days ahead of where we stand at the moment, ken...."

    EVENT ANNOUNCER ù ROUND 10
Your group send a letter to the Ministry informing them of the place you have found. It takes three days to get a response back, during which your group simply waits and finds a decent place to camp out. It seems that they are having trouble making a decision. Finally, a fresh owl is sent to you on June 10th. It congratulates you on a job well done - the Ministry will send scouts later that week to plan out how the area can be incorporated into Hogsmeade. They tell you to leave something as a marker there so that the scouts will be able to pinpoint where they ought to be. Then, you are given orders to apparate back to the Ministry in order to receive your prize money. Land will be handed out at a later date, once the other parties have returned. After returning, you're free to go back to your own lives.
