Chloe had went to Hogesmeade for the weekend, she needed some time alone from her family. Also she needed to buy few stuff for her school or so. She was walking from shop to shop and wondered what she needed. She soon walked into one jewellery shop what she founded there. She kept looking at the stuff there, she found like one necklace what was beautiful. She looked at the prize and wondered if she should buy it or not.

The prize wasn't the cheapest one for sure. It was near one window, so you could see it outside too. Actually it was outside where this necklace caught her attention. Now when she saw the prize she wasn't sure if she really wanted it or not. She had also calculated how much money she has left, she basically could buy it but same time she would spend most of her money there. So she tried to figure out if she should buy it.

When she began to grab it then someone else even tried to grab it. "That's mine," she said there to person, who was there. She said it without looking who it was even.

Had it not been for the decent seasonal weather, Emerald may not have pursued this excursion onto high street for a days worth of shopping. She wasn't too keen on wearing expensive jewelry or clothing, simply because boasting one's wealth was not exactly a hobby of hers, yet the temptation to peruse the selection of such was always a fair passing of time. So, accompanied by her chaperone, Emerald began her walk down the busy street in search of some interesting baubles and ornaments.

Upon her stroll past the jewelry shop, the shine of a necklace seemingly blinded - as well as attracted - her and took her full attention away from the activity at hand. She eyed the intricate design work and the jewels that adorned the center, imagining how such an object would feel laced around her neck, resting upon her chest. Her hand followed where it may lay during this daydream and continued to the shop's door where she readily rushed inside, turning straight towards the display to obtain a better look. Emerald couldn't believe that such an amulet could exist; one that was alluring yet simple, though far from plain. She was unsure whether or not obtaining the piece would boost her mood or even please her mother, but it did peak her interest as her sisters would surely be jealous. Besides, having something like this during her final year at the castle may even draw the attention of the young men, showing that her previous efforts at garnering a relationship were not at all in vain.

These thoughts dissipated at the sound of the shops door creaking which caused the red head to peer upwards. It was another young girl - one that she recognized as one of her peers - who seemed to be distracted by the same ornament. Emerald couldn't help herself and immediately jolted towards the necklace, reaching fiercely towards it before the girl muttered the dreadful phrase. How could she claim the jewelry as "her own? She hadn't even picked it up! "I think you are mistaken, I have spotted it first!" She stated firmly, continuing her reach. "Plus, it wouldn't look that great on you. I believe it would look better around my neck."

Chloe looked at the other girl there now and sighed. Her words did a hurt a bit there now but she didn't take it for the heart for sure. She really wanted that necklace for sure there now. She needed it. She barely allowed herself to buy some new jewellery for sure. 

"Well I did see it first for sure. At least I was near it first," she said there back now something. She wasn't sure where she will go for it to go and get it. "Well how you even know it, that it looks better on you than me?" she had to ask it. "I think other way for sure," she added it there now. She wasn't really that good at giving out insults for sure. She have never needed to insult someone before much.

"It's mine. So back off," she said there and tried to get ride of that girl there now. She knew it wouldn't be easy.

Emerald was rather offended at the response she received to her protest. She thought her statement had been truthful and began to develop a furrowed brow, fiercely staring at the girl who dared to test her luck. "Quick feet should not provide reason to your case!" She forcefully stated, trying to remain composed though continuously failing all the while. "And I know it would look better around my neck because... well..." An audible huff escaped her mouth as she tried to think of a legitimate reason. "Because I tried it on earlier and have returned to purchase it!"

Oh, what a lie that had been. To resort to such tactics in the name of jewelry was unsightly even to the young witch. Despite this, she'd rather hit the girl with a binding spell than see her escape with the amulet. "The shop employees even saw me do it. Go ahead and ask them!"

Chloe looked at the girl and sighed. She was so annoying one for sure. Why she needed this necklace now suddenly so much. She looked at her and then towards the store staff for few seconds. She didn't remove her hand where it was. She some reason didn't believe the girls story there really. "Oh I see," she mumbled there mostly to herself and looked back at the girl. She wasn't sure what she should to do with this necklace now. "I want it too. Even if I haven't tried it on yet, didn't had chance yet since you came her and tried to grab it too," she said there now something back to her.

She didn't really like this girl much right now for sure. "I won't go ask since while I'm gonna do it you gonna grab the necklace and buy it. So no I won't go and ask," she said there with a innocent smile on her face. She really wanted this necklace. She barely even buys necklaces for herself.

Well, if Emerald could give the girl any credit, she would have on the basis of her intellect. It wasn't an extremely well thought out plan, nor one the red head would have been keen enough to properly execute, so having the jewel thief discover it prior was actually a blessing. Still, she was rather offended that the girl would jump to such a conclusion so readily. Did Emerald really give off such a greedy vibe?

"Do you think I am some common looter?" She protested, directing her full attention to the blonde. "That is quite the claim coming from you." Her tongue tingled after she spoke, feeling ever so delighted to have at least distracted her.

Chloe didn't really wanna call her anything but it just happened and she didn't wanna give up on the necklace so easily. She looked at he girl and tried to find a way out how she can keep the necklace to herself there now.

"I didn't meant that literally just when I go there and ask then you will take it and buy it. I didn't meant you will steal it from the shop," she tried to argue there back now with something. She did realize she is losing this fight there but she didn't wanna give up just yet. She wasn't sure what she should to do so this girl would stop bugging her.
