"Are you always this forward?" He asked teasingly since it would be a very short thread if he just ignored her entirely. — Tobin Cartwright in Take A Peek
Did you know? Churchgoers and worshippers had to endure a foul stench during prayers due to the amount of bodies often stored within the vaults of churches and chapels.
Misfortune has fallen on the family of Edward Darby within this past week. It is reported that the family's London home caught fire on September the Fifth during the night as they slept. The family thankfully awakened from slumber before the fire could claim any of their lives and they were able to vacate the premises. The home was happily able to be saved, thanks to the efforts of Mister Edward Darby and his neighbors.
However, a very different tragedy has taken place: Miss Love Darby, youngest daughter of Mister Edward Darby, has since been missing. Upon further investigation, it has been confirmed that the young debutante could not possibly have perished in the flames. It has been suggested that she might have climbed out of a window to _____________________________________________________________
reach safety from the flames. A cloak with some blood upon its hood was found near the spot where she might have landed had she climbed out her bedroom window.
A body has not been found so it is believed that the young lady might very well be alive and and might have wandered away from home in dazed confusion due to possible head injury from her fall. If so, she is most certainly in dire need of assistance. She is described as being blonde with blue eyes and a petite stature. Her father had this to say: "Please, if anyone sees my darling daughter, bring her home to us." A reward of several galleons has been offered in exchange for her safe return.

After several long years, construction on the luxury liner Jubilation is finally at a close. Plans for the ship were first revealed in 1880 and it has been a work in progress since then. Issues with funding and material acquisition slowed progress to a crawl, but generous contributions from an anonymous benefactor ensured the success of the venture.
Final touches were applied on the seventh of September and the ship will be out at its harbor in the Port of London on the twelfth. On the twelfth, spectators are encouraged to come down to the docks to watch the ship make a short trip down the River Thames.
Following that, on the twenty-fourth of September, the general public is invited to a day of festivities culminating in a celebratory gala, all held on board the vessel. Tickets for the voyage will be available for purchase at that time. Several tickets will also be raffled off to the less fortunate. This is thanks to the venture's previously mentioned anonymous benefactor, who explained the decision to offer tickets to the poor in writing: _____________________________________________________________
"A construction of this magnitude and opulence really ought to be shared with everyone, not just those who can afford it outright. The working class so rarely sees the world as it exists outside their minuscule bubbles. It gives me great pleasure to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to those who would otherwise be unable to be passengers."
What liberal sensibilities!
Jubilation is slated to set sail on the first of October. The cruise will be a three month long expedition, with exotic ports of call in the Mediterranean and Near East. In addition to the extensive luxuries on board, excursions and guided tours will also be offered at select locations.
Undoubtedly, the voyage will be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
